La QuintEssence du thé réunit en un coffret :

L’apprentissage de la dégustation avec La QuintEssence
Pour explorer ses sens et profiter au mieux de La QuintEssence du thé, s’installer dans un lieu calme et sans odeur, munis de l’ensemble des outils pédagogiques du coffret. L’apprentissage peut débuter.
Tout d’abord préparer les documents en se connectant sur l’espace privé du site www.laquintessenceduthe.com. Télécharger alors le livret intégral, et imprimer quelques feuilles de dégustation ainsi que la roue des couleurs.
L’exploration des cinq sens peut alors commencer.
L’odorat
Tremper une mouillette dans le flacon d’un référent olfactif et la sentir. Il suffit alors juste de laisser parler ses évocations dans un premier temps puis de deviner la famille d’arôme. L’objectif est de mémoriser la sensation olfactive et le descripteur associé (pour exemple, l’odeur de gazon coupé, de tige ou de cosse de haricot vert est nommée végétal).
Le goût
Déguster les saveurs en commençant par le sucré, puis le salé, l’acide, l’umami et terminer par l’amer. Pour cela, verser 2 cuillères à café de la première saveur préparée dans les verres à dégustation. Chaque participant goûte la préparation et doit retrouver la saveur dégustée et mémoriser la sensation ainsi que le descripteur associé. Cette opération doit être renouvelée pour les 5 saveurs. Le toucher
Prendre le panel des textures qui ont été préparées au préalable (papier de verre, foulard en soie, tissu en velours, galet lisse) et s’imprégner des différentes matières. L’objectif est de projeter les sensations perçues au toucher par celles ressenties lors de la dégustation.
La vue
Observer la roue des couleurs préalablement téléchargée sur l’espace personnalisé du site internet. Celle-ci permet d’identifier les thés par la couleur des liqueurs.
L’apprentissage autour des cinq sens est terminé, la dégustation peut alors débuter.
Durant la dégustation, décrire ses sensations tel un expert en s’aidant des outils pédagogiques (la roue des couleurs, les 14 référents olfactifs, les 5 référents gustatifs et le panel des textures).
Remplir tout en appréciant le breuvage la fiche de dégustation en s’aidant de ces référents sensoriels.
