Located in the center of the town of Cognac, La Nauve is a 5-star hotel, member of the prestigious Relais & Châteaux collection.

This private residence, dating from 1870, nestled in a bucolic setting, extends over approximately four hectares of wooded and flowered gardens, on the banks of the Charente River. Open since 2023 and completely renovated, this upscale establishment offers twelve luxurious rooms, including a junior suite, with elegant decor and plenty of character, blending modernity and tradition, such as these large doors and headboards, in solid oak, with geometric marquetry patterns.
The hotel's Belle Époque-style lobby opens onto a majestic and romantic white staircase leading to the guest rooms. It also features a huge blue Murano glass chandelier, an artistic focal point with blue highlights.
The hotel is also surrounded by a remarkable garden where, at the entrance, stands a century-old sequoia tree over 28 meters high! This bucolic space invites you to stroll to the small bridges that span the waterway.
La Nauve is also a top spot in Cognac for gourmets, with its two restaurants offering a friendly and festive atmosphere. At the bistro-style brasserie "Des Flâneurs," you can have lunch or dinner, inside or on the terrace in the shade of large parasols. It offers delicious and fresh cuisine, both land and sea, such as oysters au gratin with seaweed, seared cuttlefish breast with pesto, or grilled sirloin steak with red wine...
In the evening, you can also dine at the gourmet restaurant "Notes" and discover fine and refined flavors through the dishes created by the young and promising chef Anthony Carballo. Deeply humanist and passionate about his land, he creates authentic modern cuisine that enhances regional products.
Located in a wine-producing region par excellence, La Nauve also organizes gourmet dinners, such as the special champagne evening with the house of "Perrier-Jouët", where exceptional vintages accompany guests throughout a meal whose dishes have been concocted in harmony with these divine beverages. For this occasion, the chef presented a summery and sparkling menu with a tomato and caviar starter, followed by langoustine and lemon verbena, and grilled beef with piquillo peppers...
For connoisseurs, visits to the great cognac houses are essential and offer remarkable fun and cultural experiences, such as the immersive initiation to the Hennessy house, or the special 300th anniversary visit to Rémy Martin.
La Nauve is the ideal place for a bucolic, wine-infused stay. With its magnificent gardens and modern facilities, this place offers an elegant and serene setting for peacefully appreciating the Cognac lifestyle and culture.
