Piaget presents the new Limelight Gala, an ode to Elegance and Watchmaking Excellence
For more than half a century, the Limelight Gala embodies the creative genius of Piaget, combining timeless sophistication and exceptional craftsmanship. Its sensual curves, asymmetrical horns, and harmonious blend of precious stones and rare metals have made it an absolute benchmark in the world of fine watchmaking and jewelry.
This season, Piaget pushes the boundaries of watchmaking art once again by presenting two new Limelight Gala creations, enhanced by a fascinating engraved gold motif. A dazzling demonstration of its unrivaled expertise in watchmaking, jewelry and goldsmithing.

The Heritage of a Unique Know-How
Founded in 1874 by Georges-Édouard Piaget At Côte-aux-Fées, the House first distinguished itself by manufacturing exceptional movements, before achieving unparalleled mastery of calibers extra-flat during the 20th century. This expertise opened up an infinite field of possibilities in design, leading Piaget to explore ornamental stone dials, engraving techniques and sophisticated bracelet styles.
Since the 1960s, Piaget has been engaged in a quest for watchmaking innovation, giving rise to complex finishes such as the iconic Décor Palace, designed by the meticulous assembly of thousands of hand-welded links. The art of detail then becomes the signature of the House.
A New Expression of Luxury: Engraved Gold
The two new Limelight Gala models pay homage to this heritage by reinterpreting a archive pattern hand engraved on the dial and braceletThis feat, made exclusively from precious metals, illustrates the name "Piaget House of Gold", awarded to the House in 1957 for its exceptional goldsmith work.
Breaking away from signature patterns such as the Décor Palace or the snake scale effect, this unique engraving creates an undulating pattern evoking the fluidity of silk evening dresses. Each watch is engraved by a master craftsman over two days, guaranteeing a perfectly uniform finish from the dial to the clasp.
Two Exceptional Models
The collection is enriched with two new pieces, reflecting Piaget's creativity and audacity:
- Limelight Gala Gold and Diamonds : a case enhanced by 42 brilliant cut diamonds (4,74 carats), revealing an incomparable brilliance.
- Limelight Gala Mesmerizing Burgundy : a tribute to Piaget's chromatic expertise, this model is entirely hand-engraved and enhanced with a Grand Feu burgundy enamel. The depth of this shade, inspired by the ruby root, is magnified by a sumptuous gemstone gradient, mixing diamonds, pale pink sapphires and dark red rubies.
The coloring, essential to Piaget's identity, here reconnects with the emblematic watches of the 1970s adorned with hard stones. Intense Bordeaux evokes the glamour of the red carpets of yesteryear and the lavish spirit of the Piaget Society.
A Mechanics That Lives Up to Its Design
Combining aesthetics and performance, these watches are powered by the Manufacture movement 501P1 self-winding, housed in a case of 32 mm whose asymmetrical curves delicately hug the wrist. True to its DNA, Piaget thus perpetuates its quest for technical and artistic excellence.
The Inspiration of the Piaget Society
These creations are in keeping with the legendary glamour of the Piaget Society, a circle of icons from the 1970s and 1980s where Elizabeth Taylor, Gina Lollobrigida, Jacqueline Kennedy Onassis and Andy WarholInspired by the opulence of the era, the new Limelight Gala boldly and modernly reinterprets the heritage of a visionary House.
An Invitation to Excellence
Through these new editions of Limelight Gala, Piaget reaffirms its status as a pioneer in luxury watchmaking and jewelry. Everyday accessories for lovers of elegance, these watches embody the essence of artisanal know-how and the innovative spirit of the HouseEach piece reveals a story, a unique refinement, and an unparalleled brilliance, inviting those who wear them to enter the prestigious world of Piaget.
