In a rapidly changing luxury sector, where experience now takes precedence over ostentation, The Floating Art Hotel - Monaco Edition presents itself as the world's first floating contemporary art hotel, conceived as a private members' club itinerant. Far from being a simple event initiative, it is a new format of cultural hospitality, designed to travel between the world's art capitals and capture an ultra-selective audience, in search of meaning, rarity and connection.

A concept born from a strategic void in the luxury ecosystem
The project originates from Gaëlle Jaunay Calendini, Founder of Meaning Production, an international creative studio that has collaborated with Google Chrome, McLaren, Kering, Acne Studios, Balenciaga, Nike, and MAC Cosmetics. After more than a decade orchestrating large-scale cultural campaigns and navigating the very closed ecosystem of superyachts and the Monaco Grand Prix, she identified a gap: no space truly managed to combine contemporary art, refined hospitality, and high-value encounters.
This intuition gave birth to A Love Story Agency, then to the Floating Art Hotel, conceived as a response to a growing need: to offer cultural leaders, founders, UHNWIs and collectors a place where one does not just consume luxury, but where one produces meaning, networking and opportunities.
An ultra-premium product tailored for a very high-value audience
The inaugural edition, launched during the 2026 Monaco Grand Prix, takes place aboard a 72-meter private mega-yacht transformed into a boutique cultural hotel. With only 14 suites, the experience is intentionally exclusive, almost secretive. Packages, priced between €60,000 and €180,000, include full hospitality, access to the exhibition, wellness treatments, private transfers, and premium access to Formula 1.
This pricing strategy, far from being a deterrent, responds to a growing demand for ultra-exclusive experiences. The Floating Art Hotel thus functions as a hub for strategic meetings, bringing together founders, investors, collectors, and cultural decision-makers in an environment where discretion and the quality of exchanges take precedence over visibility.

A cultural immersion designed as a value driver
At the heart of the yacht, the 350 m² Sun Deck becomes an open-air contemporary art exhibition, under the curatorial direction of Francesco Marchiaro.
International consultant and founder of Marchiaro Consulting, Francesco Marchiaro operates at the intersection of strategy, culture, and luxury. Its expertise lies in crafting brand narratives with strong cultural legitimacy, developing partnerships between art, luxury, and contemporary creation, and managing international projects with significant symbolic significance. Accustomed to working between Europe and the Middle East, it contributes to both global strategies and targeted activations: artistic collaborations, cultural events, narrative platforms, and high-end communication.
Its approach prioritizes coherence, aesthetics and meaning, with a particular requirement for cultural authenticity and the sustainable integration of brands into contemporary artistic ecosystems.
Because art is not mere decoration: it structures the experience, creates a shared language, and serves as a catalyst for conversation. The artworks, installations, and performances transform the stay into a vibrant cultural journey, accessible not only to residents but also to a select external audience through a daily access system.
This artistic dimension enhances the project's appeal to brands, institutions, and collectors, who see it as a space for brand storytelling, cultural soft power, and highly qualified networking.

A nomadic model designed for the world's art capitals
While Monaco marks the launch of this adventure, the Floating Art Hotel already has its sights set on the future. This itinerant concept aims to dock in major cultural capitals during key events. Upcoming destinations include Hong Kong, Miami, Dubai, and Abu Dhabi, in conjunction with major international events such as Art Basel, Art Dubai, Design Miami, and Abu Dhabi Art.
This mobility offers a major strategic advantage: the ability to replicate an attractive model while adapting the artistic programming and partnerships to each local market. The yacht thus becomes an evolving cultural platform, a rare feature in the world of experiential luxury.

A new model for high-end hospitality
With The Floating Art Hotel, Gaëlle Jaunay Calendini opens a new chapter in premium hospitality. The project transcends the traditional notion of a hotel to offer a hybrid typology, at the crossroads of a private club, a traveling museum, and a cultural business lounge. In this space, luxury is not defined by excess, but by intention: to create a space where art, community, and conversation become the true drivers of value.
With this concept, Gaëlle Jaunay Calendini offers a new alternative. Aboard the Floating Art Hotel, the greatest spectacle may not be on the Formula 1 track, but in silent reflection in front of a canvas, lulled by the lapping of the Mediterranean.
In a market where UHNWIs are looking less for spectacular experiences than for meaningful, exclusive and relational environments, the Floating Art Hotel is emerging as a pioneering model in yachting and potentially one of the most influential formats of the next decade.
