Riva Iseo Super, the new version of the famous 27-foot runabout Ferretti Group made its world premiere at BOOT Düsseldorf 2025.
Sarnico, February 6, 2025 – The new one Riva Iseo Super, making its world premiere at BOOT Düsseldorf 2025, embodies the perfect blend of heritage and innovation. An evolution of the successful model launched in 2011, this 27-foot runabout retains Riva's signature timeless elegance, while incorporating technological and stylistic solutions that reinvent the legend.
Coming from the same innovative design approach as the Riva El-Iseo – the brand’s first 100% electric boat, presented exactly one year earlier at BOOT Düsseldorf 2024 – the new Iseo Super expands the range of open yachts under 9 meters, offering several engine solutions adapted to the needs of each owner: from the silent elegance of electric motors to the power of internal combustion propulsion systems.
Like all Riva creations of the last thirty years, the new Riva Iseo Super was designed by Mauro Micheli et Sergio Beretta, founders of the studio Officina Italiana Design, which exclusively designs all Riva yachts, in collaboration with the Strategic Product Committee directed by Piero Ferrari and Ferretti Group Engineering Department.
THEIseo Super expresses the refinement that runs through the entire Riva range, from the most compact runabouts to superyachts of over 70 meters: each line and each detail testifies to exceptional craftsmanship and meticulous attention to finishing. We find in particular the high gloss varnished mahogany wood covering the deck and aft platform, as well as the sophisticated new hull color, Vulcan Grey, which enriches the brand's exclusive palette.
An iconic design with refined finishes
Ce elegant 27-foot (8,24 m) runabout with a maximum beam of 2,5 m features Riva's iconic stylistic elements, which have made the brand famous. These include:
- High gloss striped mahogany treated with 24 coats of varnish
- Steel details like the side grilles
- The aquamarine waterline
All this fits perfectly with new developments which improve on-board comfort and navigation performance.
THEThe entire windshield has been completely redesigned, adopting a reverse curvature characteristic of Riva boats, giving the yacht a dynamic and racy silhouette.
Le cockpit also stands out for its design modern and refined, equipped with a navigation screen 9 inch Volvo Penta, positioned symmetrically between a analog dashboard right and one storage compartment on the left. A version digital with 12-inch Böning screen is also available.
Under the storage compartment – which also incorporates a USB port, SD reader and audio system control panel – there is a drawer refrigerator, while a large storage space below the plotter is dedicated to the boat's defenses.
A cockpit optimized for comfort and style
In the cockpit, several new features improve comfort on board:
- A completely redesigned and more spacious dinette, thanks to a intelligent space optimization behind the cockpit
- Un elegant U-shaped sofa, covered with fabric Sky waterproof coordinated with the hull color chosen by the owner
- A retractable electric table, which disappears under the cushions when not in use
- Un additional storage space on the opposite side, maximizing available space
Behind the back of the sofa, we find the retractable manual bimini top, While the engine compartment is located under the rear solarium, covered in the same Sky fabric as the dinette cushions.
High level performances
Le Riva Iseo Super retains its traditional sterndrive propulsion system, associated with a hydraulic gearbox which improves sound comfort by eliminating noisy gear changes.
In its standard version, it is equipped with an engine Volvo Penta D4-300A – a diesel of 300 horsepower (221 kW) at 3 rpm – coupled with a Aquamatic DP-I duoprop sterndrive, allowing to reach a cruising speed of 33 knots and total top speed of 38 knots (preliminary data).
Two optional petrol engines are also available:
- Volvo Penta V8 350 CE - 355 horsepower (261 kW) at 5 rpm – with a high performance DP-S sterndrive (cruising speed of 36 knots and maximum speed of 41 knots).
- Volvo Penta V8 – 305 hp (224 kW) at 5 rpm – also with DP-S sterndrive, in accordance with the requirements of the Lake Constance, allowing a cruising speed of 33 knots and a maximum speed of 38 knots (preliminary data).
For a optimal stabilization during navigation, the Riva Iseo Super is equipped with:
- Of a autotrim control for the sterndrive motor
- Of a Zipwake interceptor for the correction of the plate
An innovative protective cover
Another innovation designed for the owners of this exceptional runabout: a protective cover inspired by automotive design to ensure maximum hull protection.
This cover is made from a technical material double-layer raincoat, including:
- A weather-resistant outer layer
- A breathable wool inner layer, which absorbs moisture and keeps the boat in optimal condition when moored.
