Baglietto, a pioneer in the field of luxury yacht construction, recently unveiled its latest masterpiece at a press conference in Milan: the Observation Yacht X50, a 50-meter superyacht that embodies a new way of exploring, experiencing and observing the marine horizons.
An innovative and functional design
The Observatory: A 360° panoramic view
The X50's highlight is undoubtedly its unique observatory, located above the wheelhouse. This area offers a breathtaking 360° panoramic view, allowing passengers to fully enjoy the seascapes while sailing. The large flush windows and central skylight enhance this visual experience, providing glimpses of the starry sky during nighttime crossings.
A comfortable visual room
Inside, the X50 features a comfortable and sheltered "visual room," furnished with plush cushions and sofas. This space is perfect for relaxing even in cold weather, without ever losing sight of the magic of travel. Opposite this lounge area, six large independent monitors allow passengers to watch movies, listen to music, or follow their chosen route on digital maps.
Inspired by the past, designed for the future
A reinvented railway inspiration
The inspiration for Baglietto's XO line comes from the railway sector, more precisely from the famous ETR 300 "Settebello" train. This historic train from the 1950s revolutionized the concept of train travel with its characteristic driver's station and first-class panoramic lounge. Baglietto has taken these innovative elements and transposed them into the world of yachting, creating an unparalleled browsing experience.
Dark and elegant lines
Despite its sleek, elegant lines, the X50 retains the traditional stylistic characteristics of Baglietto yachts, with a "workboat" look typical of the Explorers. The minimalist flybridge and flush-fitting glass surfaces offer breathtaking views, while the upper deck is inspired by the successful veranda concept of the T52.
Designed for transoceanic crossings
A robust and high-performance hull
The X50 superyacht is designed for transoceanic crossings with a robust and sharp hull, ensuring easy rope management and crew maneuvers even in extreme weather conditions. Safety is also a priority, with generous storage space for large tenders suitable for sailing in rough seas.
A versatile rear deck
Access to the aft area is via a large transformer. A central glass hatch opens onto a multi-purpose space, including a gym that can be used even while underway and ample storage space for outdoor furniture and other equipment such as bicycles when the tenders are in the water.
Special attention to the environment
Eco-responsible materials and technologies
The ceramic materials used in the X50 are more environmentally friendly. Solar panels on the flybridge roof recharge the many water toys on board. The special paint finishes demonstrate the shipyard's commitment to environmental protection. These choices demonstrate Baglietto's desire to reduce the environmental impact of its yachts.
Customizable configurations
The new XO line offers a wide range of possible configurations, particularly for the aft area, which can comfortably accommodate two large tenders up to 10 meters in length. In addition, a rich palette allows for unparalleled color customization.
An incomparable experience
Impressive performance
The X50 is powered by two CAT C32 engines, capable of reaching a top speed of 16 knots. This performance, combined with the unique experience offered by the observatory and luxurious spaces, makes the X50 a true revolution in the world of luxury yachts.
A unique browsing experience
The X50 superyacht stands out from all other yachts. It embodies an immersive and emotional sailing experience. The observatory offers a privileged vantage point, a 360° "visual room" with no rival on the market. This yacht, with its strong and distinctive character, is aimed at a clientele passionate about cruising and eager to experience each voyage intimately and directly.
