Located in a green setting in the heart of Tuscany, La Monastica Resort & SPA combines historic charm with contemporary comfort. Housed in a carefully restored former monastery, this unique Italian address invites you to completely disconnect in a peaceful and authentic atmosphere.
Surrounded by Mediterranean gardens and rolling landscapes, the resort offers an immersive experience where well-being, gastronomy and lifestyle intertwine subtly. The elegantly appointed rooms and suites sit alongside an exceptional spa, a panoramic pool, and a restaurant showcasing local flavors. A true haven of peace, La Monastica seduces with its discreet refinement and its ability to offer a moment of timeless serenity.

In this lush green setting, La Monastica Resort & SPA made light a central element to create a relaxing and intimate atmosphere. In this large-scale project, exterior lighting was designed as an integral part of the sensory experience offered to visitors, enhancing both the architectural volumes and the landscaped spaces. Three iconic lighting ranges mark this project: Flamingo, Microphone, and Mini.
Flamingo: functional elegance in the garden
Designed by Sara Moroni, the collection Flamingo infuses a discreet sophistication into the majority of the resort's outdoor spaces. This luminaire is available here in 30 wall-mounted versions (sconces) and 140 models as beacons for walkways. The ensemble creates a poetic play of light, punctuating the paths and enhancing the walls and natural spaces.
At the crossroads of minimalist design and performance, Flamingo offers diffuse and even light thanks to its PMMA diffuser and anodized reflector. Its sinuous but precise lines allow great freedom of installation — wall-mounted, on the ceiling or on a stand — with long, adjustable arms capable of illuminating large areas.
Designed in aluminum and steel, without visible screws, this collection benefits from a careful surface treatment in several stages (anodization, epoxy paint and polyester finish), ensuring excellent resistance to bad weather and UV rays.
Micro: discreet light, maximum efficiency
Barely visible during the day, Microphone becomes spectacular after dark. These 50 recessed spotlights, only 95 mm in diameter, have been subtly integrated into the wooded park of La Monastica to highlight the majestic trees and accentuate certain architectural elements.
Designed to disappear into the environment, Microphone stands out with a powerful light beam that magnifies the landscape's reliefs from sunset. Its installation in series or as a single light point allows great flexibility of use, both on the ground and on the ceiling.
Its aluminum body and 316L stainless steel bezel provide maximum robustness. IP68 certified with Full Dry system, Microphone resists moisture and prevents internal condensation, ensuring durability and safety.

Mini: power and robustness at the service of plants
Also integrated into the heart of the estate, the collection Mini is part of the great classics of landscape lighting. It has been revisited to offer increased performance thanks to new LED sources and reinforced surface treatments.
With its 10 units spread across the park, Mini is designed to illuminate the tallest trees, highlighting their size and foliage. Thanks to its minimal footprint, it blends harmoniously into the ground without disrupting the flow of visitors.
Made from a very low copper content aluminum alloy and marine stainless steel, Mini also meets IP68 standards. Its “Full Stainless Steel” design guarantees exceptional resistance to shocks and repeated passages.

A project where light tells the story of space
At La Monastica Resort & SPA, light doesn't just illuminate: it sculpts, reveals, and inspires. At nightfall, the gardens, paths, and facades come alive in a subdued atmosphere, where technology and design blend in poetic harmony. A model of successful integration between nature, architecture, and lifestyle.
Just a few kilometers from La Monastica, the countryside offers a backdrop rich in discoveries. You can explore charming medieval villages, such as San Severino or Castelvetro, where cobbled streets and old stones tell the story of local history. Art and history lovers can visit Romanesque abbeys and centuries-old churches, while the surrounding trails invite you to stroll through olive groves and vineyards. For those who wish to venture a little further afield, excursions to Renaissance palaces, typical markets, or hilltop panoramas complete the experience, offering a subtle travel between nature, culture and heritage.

With its rolling hills, legendary vineyards and medieval villages, Tuscany seduces with its perfect balance between nature, culture and lifestyle. Cradle of the Renaissance, it is home to architectural and artistic treasures in Florence, Siena, and Pisa, where the legacy of Michelangelo, Leonardo da Vinci, and Botticelli still shines. Its countryside, dotted with cypress trees, olive trees, and sunflower fields, invites contemplation as much as oenological discovery, with renowned vintages such as Chianti and Brunello di Montalcino. Between generous gastronomy, natural thermal baths, mild climate, and warm welcome, Tuscany embodies an authentic and elegant Italy, ideal for lovers of refinement, well-being, and cultural getaways.
