From September 23 to 25, 2025, Paris Porte de Versailles will host the 47th edition ofIFTM (International French Travel Market), the unmissable event for tourism professionals. For this new edition, the ambitions are in line with the changes taking place in the sector.
More than 1 exceptional brands and destinations (including Cape Verde, Namibia, Oman, Cambodia, Uganda and, in France, Aveyron and Vendée) will invest in an exhibition space expanded by 600 to 15% compared to 20.

More than just a trade show, IFTM has established itself as a driving force for change. A space for reflection, meetings, and collaboration, designed as a true catalyst for new ideas, responsible initiatives, and visionary alliances. All indicators are positive to make this edition a key moment, at the intersection of business, inspiration, and transformation.
An edition guided by forces in action and desirable bridges
Following the reflections on sustainable horizons initiated in 2024, the 2025 edition of IFTM is dedicated to commitment and collective action. Through the theme "Forces in action! Let's build desirable bridges," the show invites tourism stakeholders to mobilize collectively to bring about bold, useful, and sustainable initiatives. This dynamic is based on three structuring axes: innovations, talents, and synergies.
The objective is to work together to reinvent the traveler experience through technological and sustainable solutions, to highlight the women and men who, through their commitment and creativity, are shaping more human tourism, and to promote cooperation at all levels, between territories, sectors or generations.
This theme is illustrated through a vast program of conferences, collaborative workshops and thematic spaces designed to inspire, connect and profoundly transform the practices of the sector.
A new Village of Sustainable Initiatives
Among the major new features of this edition, the Sustainable Initiatives Village strongly embodies IFTM's commitment to more responsible tourism. Designed in collaboration with the consulting agency mN'Organisation, this new space will welcome innovative start-ups, destinations, high-impact project leaders, and experts in the ecological transition. The Sustainable Initiatives Village will offer a rich and varied program, combining exhibition space, collective intelligence workshops, thematic conferences, and inspiring conversations.
The unique "Stand Up for the Planet – Initiatives on Stage" format will give a voice to those who wish to share an experience and take concrete action, in a spirit of sincerity, transmission, and impact. A powerful symbol, the Tree of Commitments, installed in the heart of the village, will embody the shared desire to build a more sustainable future. Committed partners such as FairMoove and Costa Rica will support this collective adventure.
Another highlight: the launch of the “La Plume Verte by IFTM x ADONET” competition, designed to reward journalists who promote sustainable initiatives applied to tourism in their publications.
This village aims to be a true place of convergence, inspiration and exchange, where everyone can nourish their thoughts and leave with concrete ideas to implement.
A conference program serving collective intelligence
IFTM 2025 also innovates in its conference formats to meet the expectations of co-construction and sharing of experiences.
Beyond the more traditional conferences, the program incorporates a wide variety of participatory formats, designed to stimulate collective intelligence. Les Ruches, for example, will offer collaborative workshops that will bring together professionals from diverse backgrounds to brainstorm concrete solutions to the challenges facing the sector. Les Conversations, organized in an informal atmosphere, will allow travel agents and experts to freely discuss their challenges and best practices. The "Stand Up for the Planet – Initiatives on Stage" format will challenge traditional conventions with short, dynamic presentations rooted in real life.
Other formats such as round tables, face-to-face meetings, and sectoral barometers will offer a comprehensive overview of trends and perspectives, while the "What's New?" presentations will allow visitors to discover in just a few minutes the new products proposed by exhibitors. This abundance of approaches reflects IFTM's desire to foster a collective and constructive dialogue to serve the transformation of tourism.
As it does every year, IFTM will present its major highlights, such as the Inaugural Conference and the International Panorama, as well as the Business Travel, MICE, Leisure, and AI Barometers. The show's major emblematic competitions, the Orchestra Start-Up Contest, the Travel Agents Cup, and the Travel Agents Cup Junior, will reveal the tourism talents of tomorrow.
The Africa Convention will also be held for its 3rd edition in a dedicated room with a rich program of meetings and conferences around the development of tourism on this continent, with a particular focus on the cultural aspect.

A 2025 edition rich in new features and innovations
The 2025 edition of IFTM also features a series of new features that enhance the visitor and exhibitor experience. One of the major additions is the introduction of Colleqt, a professional networking tool that requires no app to download. Thanks to QR codes on the stands, attendees can instantly record the contact details of their contacts and share their own, making interactions more seamless and measurable in terms of return on investment.
The Tech Zone is also back at IFTM with a range of immersive experiences, as well as fifteen-minute training workshops offered by Theta Travel Tech and KavIAr. These sessions will allow travel agents to familiarize themselves with artificial intelligence, its practical uses, and its prospects for tourism. IFTM aims to train more than 600 professionals on these cutting-edge topics, a sign that innovation is becoming a central pillar of the show.
The Network Village layout has been redesigned to provide greater clarity and a more user-friendly experience. At its center, the AGV Lounge will be a dedicated meeting space for travel agents. Other areas, such as the Business Club, Destination France, and the Tour Operator Village, will also benefit from updated concepts, allowing for better circulation and increased visibility of the content offered.

The Dominican Republic, country of honor 2025
An iconic and beloved destination for the French, the Dominican Republic will be in the spotlight this year at the IFTM trade show. With 11 million visitors in 2024 and a deep attachment from French travelers, the destination intends to take advantage of this visibility to unveil a renewed image, far from clichés. The Ministry of Tourism aims to reposition the country as a high-end destination, highlighting its cultural diversity, natural wealth, gastronomy, and ecotourism offerings. Beyond the paradisiacal beaches, these are still little-known regions that will be showcased through an ambitious program. This strategic partnership perfectly embodies the spirit of the show: building desirable bridges between destinations and industry professionals, while meeting the new expectations of travelers seeking authentic and sustainable experiences.
