Richard Orlinski designed the Peacock to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Maison Albar Hotels

In May 2023, Richard Orlinski unveiled Le Paon, a unique sculpture specially created to celebrate the Albar family's centenary hotel history.

The peacock is the symbol of the Maison Albar Hotels Collection. This fascinating animal symbolizes beauty, nobility, and pride. It also represents regeneration and rebirth, as it molts its entire plumage every year.

Richard Orlinski created Le Paon to celebrate the centenary of the Albar family's hotel history. A piece that represents both the world of its creator and the image of Maison Albar Hotels, incorporating the bird's plumage as a symbol of its logo.

The Peacock can be seen at Maison Albar – Le Diamond, at 4 Rue de la Pépinière in the 8e arrondissement of Paris, until the end of May 2023. During the summer, the sculpture will pass through Nîmes, Porto, and return to Paris before docking in Nice at the new address Maison Albar which will be inaugurated in early 2024.

Common values

Richard Orlinski, son of pop culture, has been captivating art lovers around the world for 15 years, driven by his desire to make art accessible to as many people as possible. Inspired by wild animals—all symbols of freedom, strength, and passion—his creations are instantly recognizable. Céline Falco, through the Maison Albar Hotels collection, aspires to share French hospitality around the world, thanks to her charming boutique hotels, each unique but with the same family spirit. These two ambassadors of French culture naturally came together to create a unique work.

« Our meeting with Céline Falco, fourth generation of the Albar family, allowed me to confirm that we shared the same values of authenticity, know-how, transmission and the desire to promote French culture throughout the world. " said Richard Orlinski.

A charitable work

To mark the opening of Maison Albar – Le Victoria in Nice in early 2024, a charity gala will be held to promote the sale of the Peacock sculpture, with proceeds going to a charity. Céline Falco and Richard Orlinski will jointly select the beneficiary association; this will be announced at the end of the year.

« In addition to celebrating my family's 100th anniversary in a unique way, this piece is a symbol of the collection and embodies our shared values. That's why I'm so proud that it can ultimately help an organization that's close to our hearts. " said Celine Falco.
