Albar-Amoure House, art and design in the heart of Portugal

The international Centaurus group has signed a new exceptional address with Albar-Amoure House, a haven of peace inaugurated in the summer of 2024, near Braga, Portugal.

Less than an hour from Porto, in the charming village of Moure, this estate invites you to completely disconnect, echoing the refined city experience offered by Maison Albar-Le Monumental Palace, in Porto.

Architecture and design: a unique universe

Each space at Maison Albar-Amoure embodies a unique artistic signature, custom-designed by the prestigious Lisbon-based architectural firm Domus Concept. Given carte blanche to create this dream vacation spot, the result is a five-star hotel that combines elegance and grandeur. The façade impresses with its architectural boldness, while the vast interior spaces, bathed in light, offer a complete immersion in the surrounding nature.

Maison Albar-Amoure offers 26 uniquely designed rooms, including six sumptuous suites, some spanning over 100 m². The warm and refined atmosphere, dominated by an Art Deco style, incorporates exclusive materials, contemporary furnishings, and breathtaking views of the verdant hills, creating a feeling of luxury and intimacy, just like home.

Gastronomy: the beating heart of the Albar-Amoure home experience

Gastronomy is at the heart of the experience at Maison Albar-Amoure, orchestrated by the talented Michelin-starred chef Julien Montbabut, who also serves at Maison Albar-Le Monumental Palace. His farm-to-table philosophy is reflected in every dish, where local, seasonal produce is carefully selected from regional producers, revealing all the rich flavors of the Moure region.

L'Amoure restaurant, in collaboration with Marco Silva, a local executive chef, offers a bistronomic experience. Together, they offer a modern take on traditional Portuguese dishes to create moments of conviviality and gastronomic discovery.

The RPM Bar: the automobile as a source of inspiration

The owner's passion for cars is embodied in the unique RPM (Revolutions Per Minute) bar. A tribute to speed and design, this captivating space, designed as a large rotunda, incorporates a central rotating bar, ideal for displaying iconic cars such as Maranello's first Hykers hybrid: a Ferrari combining an 12-hp V800 combustion engine and a 120 kW electric motor for a total power output of 963 horsepower!

A preferred venue for prestigious events, the RPM bar also offers an exceptional view of the surrounding hills.

Events and art: exceptional spaces

Maison Albar-Amoure offers exceptional event spaces, with sumptuous salons totaling 1 m², including a 100 m² ballroom. The lush and spacious garden is ideal for large-scale events. Art lovers and car enthusiasts regularly gather here to admire remarkable works and collectibles at openings and exhibitions.

In a more intimate and subdued atmosphere, the La Biblioteca tea room invites you to relax, with a decor that blends tradition and modernity. A perfect place for epicureans, enjoy local dishes and artisanal drinks, a must-see stop to discover local flavors.

Indoor pool

Well-being and relaxation: the Maison Albar Hotels signature

The Amoure Spa, spanning 244 m², offers a complete relaxation area with two treatment rooms, a sauna, a hammam, a fitness room, and two indoor and outdoor pools. Treatments are performed using plant-based products from the cosmetics brand Ignae, a skincare brand founded in 2017 that uses ingredients from the unique Azores ecosystem. Committed to clean beauty and conscious luxury, it develops highly effective products focused primarily on cell regeneration and made from natural ingredients with beneficial properties.

Just 45 minutes from Porto, Maison Albar-Amoure is an ideal destination for an architectural and gastronomic immersion in Portugal, with top-notch services, from the moment you arrive at the airport. Here, every detail is designed to make your stay an unforgettable memory, combining art, design, and refinement.
