Vendémiaire Nadd-Mitterrand, a former lawyer who worked in real estate development for 20 years, has embarked on a new adventure by taking over the restaurant “Chez les Anges” from Jacques Lacipière. Renamed “Vendemiaire”, this gourmet address thus opens a new page in its history!

Vendémiaire Nadd-Mitterrand, a former lawyer who spent 20 years in real estate development, has embarked on a new adventure by taking over Jacques Lacipière's restaurant "Chez les Anges." Renamed "VENDÉMIAIRE," this gourmet address is thus opening a new chapter in its history!

Although a novice in the restaurant business, Vendémiaire Nadd-Mitterrand drew on his experiences in Chicago and New York to create an accessible and friendly place where everyone can find their place, whether they come for a full meal or simply for a drink. Like us, you will be seduced by the setting created by the Black Balloon Agency with the help of Laëtitia Benedetti, the owner's partner. The space has been redesigned in a style combining contemporary and retro codes, adorned with bright colors, notably blue and orange, creating an atmosphere that is both elegant and warm. At the center of the restaurant is a large dining bar in white marble with black veins, ideal for small bites alone or as a couple, or even just for a drink during an after-work drink.

On the façade, a vast terrace sheltered by large parasols, delights lovers of al fresco dining in the slightest ray of sunshine. Heading the kitchen, Chef Santiago Guerrero perfectly embodies the spirit of the place. Of Colombian and Swiss origin, he has gained experience in prestigious establishments such as Pré Catelan and Prince de Galles and has surrounded himself with an efficient team, with Carlos Quiñonez as sous-chef and Asia Goncalves, pastry chef who trained at Lenôtre. A successful cast for a good time at the table and enjoying revisited French cuisine, respectful of the seasons and local producers.

Thus, the menu offers, for example, as a starter, a delicate homemade salmon gravlax with lemon cream, a delicate preamble to well-prepared dishes such as
trout fillet with white butter sauce and trout eggs, or a flank steak with chimichurri sauce. But if you find a partner, we recommend opting for the beautiful pieces of meat to share, such as this tender and imposing 1kg French rib of beef, roasted over charcoal and served with, for example, exquisite homemade mashed potatoes. Everything you need to make a very pleasant meal concluded, for example, with a very gourmet and fashionable Pavlova or a beautiful 75% Tulakalum chocolate tartlet, hazelnut praline and cocoa nibs. Expect to pay around €60 excluding drinks from the menu, and if you like a good deal, don't hesitate for a moment before the amazing lunch menu served Monday to Friday at €35, or even just €29 if you skip the starter or dessert.
