For its grand return, The Edge opened a new, immense Parisian address spanning over 6 m² on September 350th! Get ready to discover The Edge: a unique virtual reality experience that combines sensations of heat, wind, and vibrations. Put on your headsets and let yourself be surprised by a unique universe and breathtaking graphics! From then on, you will be teleported to a space base where communication and collaboration are assets to carry out your mission.
Fans of Ready Player One and the world of Wade Watts will be particularly excited by this experience which, according to its co-creators Arnaud Chape and Valentin Raymondeau, goes beyond " the limits of reality " and is “a door that opens onto the unexplored "With fourteen virtual reality stations, the adventure adapts to your decisions, making each journey unique.
The experience is somewhat different from what the capital's VR centers usually offer... and for good reason: The Edge is here to offer, above all, a creation of its own. It took a total of two years to complete this new adventure.
The experience then differentiates itself through immersion, offering players the possibility of wearing a haptic vest that vibrates according to the actions performed, as well as controllers equipped with sensors that allow them to grasp objects in virtual reality as in real life. All you have to do is open your fingers and grasp the objects. The objective: to offer you a different virtual reality. In terms of headsets and controllers, this is the Valve Index. In addition, the player is on a vibrating station and fully feels the effects of heat and wind through the radiators and fans. The sign also offers the possibility of privatizing the space (the sign includes 14 box games) for team building, birthdays, bachelor parties or even bachelorette parties.
The experience is stunning and unlike any other VR center. The heat, vibration, and ventilation effects accentuate it and make it more realistic. The rendering is faithful in terms of handling, thanks to the Valve Index controllers. Graphically, the experience is magnificent and very comfortable to experience.
The experience lasts approximately 45 minutes, depending on your experience with VR, and is suitable for all groups. But the goal here is not to challenge yourself or rack your brains to solve puzzles… Here, it's time to live the VR experience in the most beautiful and captivating way thanks to the capabilities of the controllers and the headset. It's also time to make room for contemplation… Note that depending on the progress of each group, several endings are possible to avoid frustration, and the difficulty level is adjusted according to the number of players.

Our mission
In 2360, scientists disappeared from the space base on Jupiter's moon Ganymede. Your mission is to form teams of 2, 3, and 4 people and find them. This adventure travels between stages of investigation, action, and performance to bring joy to everyone, from the age of 13. Equipped with a VR headset, controllers, a haptic vest, and a heat/wind simulation, set out to save humanity from as yet unidentified threats!
The Edge already seems to be the new frontier of virtual reality in Paris. An exciting adventure that engages all the senses and is definitely worth exploring.
