Sunreef Yachts and its little history
Founded by Francis Lapp, also the firm's CEO, Sunreef Yachts was founded in 2002. Passionate about the world of catamarans, he purchased his first large cruising catamaran, which he based in Madagascar. Over time, he invested in several yachts to open a travel agency specializing in charters in the Indian Ocean. Over time, customer demand evolved, and requests for more comfortable and spacious boats multiplied. The company's founder struggled to find yachts that met these clients' expectations. This is how he came up with the idea of building custom-made luxury catamarans.
So it was a new story that began for the founder, who opened his shipyard in Gdansk. He unveiled his first luxury catamaran in 2003, and today, there are more than 140 Sunreef Yachts sail and power boats worldwide. The company has become the world leader in the design of large luxury yachts and even received the World Yachts Trophies award in the Best Shipyard category this year.
But what are the characteristics that distinguish this new yacht Sunreef 80 Nomad?
A floating house for long cruises
The Sunreef 80 Nomad luxury yacht has been customized to ensure optimal passenger comfort during long family cruises. The builder designed it as a true floating home, allowing owners to feel at home while being rocked by the waves. The yacht can accommodate four passengers and is equipped with all the necessary amenities for optimal travel conditions.
Its generous spaces, particularly its 11,5-meter beam, promote the fluidity of movement within the catamaran and allow passengers to enjoy every corner without any constraints.
A "Lounge" lounge equipped with an XXL sofa and a height-adjustable dining table is installed on the main deck of the boat. A wine cooler is discreetly hidden on the central island of the kitchen, next to large storage units that can be used for long escapades on the waters.
To ensure passenger privacy, the builder has separated the yacht's hulls. One is entirely reserved for the family, while the crew and captain will occupy the other hull. The builder has designed the master suite in the starboard hull of this beautiful gem, where luxury is the name of the game. It features a king-size bed, a dressing room, a spacious bathroom ideal for relaxation, and a private retractable balcony. Two children's cabins are also available on this yacht. They include bunk beds and desks that will allow them to continue working while cruising.
The interior cabins are bright and refined thanks to the white color that invades the spaces and brings a very contemporary touch to the design.
Of course, comfort doesn't stop there! What could be more enjoyable than enjoying the beautiful weather while cruising? The aft cockpit features spaces that allow passengers to relax in the sun. They can enjoy the jacuzzi, lounge on the hammocks, or simply have lunch in peace and quiet, sheltered from the wind. To top it all off, two jet skis are available on the deck, with launching cranes and storage for scuba diving equipment to admire the seabed.
