By bone conduction
In the OpenComm2 range, we can access the 2 flagship products: OpenRun Pro et OpenRun Pro Mini (for a smaller head size).
Bone conduction is a physiological process by which sound is transmitted to the inner ears by passing through the bones of the skull. Unlike air conduction, which occurs when sound travels through the air and reaches the outer ear, bone conduction bypasses the external auditory canal and the eardrum.
Bone conduction can be used in cases where normal air conduction is impaired, for example in cases of hearing problems due to obstruction of the external auditory canal or problems with the eardrum, so it can be an alternative for a person with hearing loss...
The openRun Pro has a battery life of up to 10 hours, and can be charged in 5 minutes for 1 hours of listening time. Made of soft silicone, it is very comfortable to wear for long periods of time, with a total weight of 30 grams.

Released in early July 2023, Shokz innovates again with True Wireless earphones Shokz OpenFit which uses a brand new technology in the form of earpieces that sit around the ears. Equipped with dynamic transducers, the earphone is positioned on the concha of the ear which allows sounds to be diffused towards the ear canal in an almost natural way, while remaining aware of their surroundings.
