This is what it has just proven by unveiling the latest addition to its collection: the Pershing 140. This new yacht has everything to seduce luxury lovers, whether in terms of design, technology, or performance. An overview of this new luxury craft!
The Pershing 140: a jewel combining aesthetics and performance
The Ferretti Group is present in the luxury yacht market through its various brands. These include Ferretti Yachts, Riva, Pershing, Itama, Mochi Craft, Custom Line, and Wally. Always seeking innovation, the group recently focused on the design of a brand new jewel combining aesthetics and performance.
The Pershing 140 stands out first and foremost for its size, which is on par with the brand's other luxury yachts. The yacht measures 42,53 meters, making it the first Pershing yacht to exceed 40 meters. It is the first Pershing yacht to feature a gray hull constructed from a lightweight aluminum alloy and to have been manufactured at the Ferrery Superyacht shipyard in Ancona, a site reserved for units exceeding 40 meters.
It should be noted that this new yacht was conceived and designed by the Ferretti Group's Product Strategy Committee, led by engineer Piero Ferrari, with the group's engineering department and the assistance of architect Fulvio De Simoni. The Pershing 140 is a 140-foot yacht, and is developed in 3 spacious decks. In terms of design, it does not stray far from the brand's DNA and retains two arches on both sides. The yacht adopts a chic and elegant style with sporty lines.
A unique experience on board “Le Perching 140”
The architect Fulvio De Simoni aimed to optimize comfort in this yacht, as well as the pleasure of sailing aboard this exceptional boat. Thus, the Pershing 140 has an aggressive bow and a raised cockpit giving direct access to the sun deck to give the impression of being on a mezzanine. It is then the first boat of the brand offering a unique and comfortable experience in the outdoor spaces, and also the only one to have an area reserved for the owner on the main deck. Passengers will then be able to enjoy the sun rays aboard this yacht, while contemplating the beauty of the ocean from the boat's vast terrace and its bar area. Not forgetting the cherry on the cake to complete your luxury trip aboard this yacht: the outdoor jacuzzi. And of course, the boat will offer everything passengers will need in terms of technology. The boat offers two VIP cabins, two "twin" cabins and an owner's area, with an XXL TV, sofas and comfortable seats and tables.
And not to do things by halves, the Ferretti group has also taken care to improve the performance of this luxury yacht. In terms of power and engines, the boat is equipped with four MTU 16V2000 engines of 2 horsepower, each for a maximum speed of around 600 knots and a cruising speed of 38 knotsA surprising performance for a 42-meter yacht.
Although this project was announced four years ago at the Monaco Yacht Show, the first Pershing 140 model appeared at the Monaco F1 Grand Prix, whose owner is a wealthy European client.
