CRN announces a new, fully custom 70-meter superyacht, a unique and exceptional new creation, the M/Y 145 Project Thunderball. This steel and aluminum superyacht is entirely bespoke and handcrafted in terms of design, naval architecture, engineering, and construction.
The CRN M/Y 145 combines the quality and expertise of the CRN shipyard in design and construction with the experience of Vripack – which developed the exterior lines and naval architecture – and the creativity of the Nauta Design studio, for the interior design and exterior furnishings.

Y.CO brokers completed the sale in August 2022 and are playing a key role as the shipowner's representative and project management team, supporting the shipowner during the construction phase through to technical checks, inspection and acceptance, as well as with project management, on-site supervision and coordination of external service providers.
This new yacht, with its classic and timeless lines, has a striking sense of design that perfectly reflects the owner's vision and requirements for a pleasure vessel suitable for long, pleasant and contemplative cruises.
It features a traditional elongated bow, a low profile, and sleek lines like a sailboat, with curved chines and a smooth surface. The entire design has been carefully considered for highly efficient cruising and comfortable, easy maneuvering. As the owner is a sailing enthusiast, a smaller sailboat will also be delivered to accompany the mother yacht. The superyacht will sail in the Mediterranean and between Florida and the Bahamas, and serve as a base for diving, sailing, and spearfishing.

The CRN M/Y 145 spans 5 decks and is 70 meters long, with a beam of 11 meters and a gross tonnage of 1 tons. It can accommodate up to 100 guests and 12 crew members.
The Thunderball's interior design concept transcends time and fashion. It reflects a maritime culture, a sophisticated collection of details, a combination of heritage blended with a refined contemporary look, completely reinterpreting these elements from the perspective of the latest lifestyle. The nautical approach and high-end craftsmanship come together to characterize a new state of the art in the field of pleasure boating.
The CRN M/Y 145 continues the shipyard's commitment to sustainability by utilizing a peak shaving system to increase energy efficiency and reduce fuel consumption.

In addition to the 145-meter CRN M/Y 70, the Ferretti Group’s multi-brand Superyacht Yard in Ancona – a nearly 80 m² facility – is currently building three other fully custom CRN yachts, namely the 000-meter CRN M/Y 139, the 72-meter CRN M/Y 143, and the 67-meter CRN M/Y 144. It is also building the first all-aluminum Custom Line Navetta 85, the all-aluminum Pershing 50#140, as well as the all-aluminum Riva Superyacht Division 04. The entire fiberglass Custom Line range is manufactured here, with 54 yachts currently under construction in the sheds and on the docks to be finished, tested, and delivered to their respective owners and project teams.
