Since his teenage years, Michel has been designing and manufacturing audio equipment, always in search of the ideal sound. This passion led him to found LiveHorn in 2022, thus realizing a personal project aimed at offering original creations, the fruit of know-how acquired over the years.
The French brand of high-end acoustic speakers stands out for its use of noble and innovative materials, combining sound performance and refined aesthetics.
LiveHorn Speaker Signature Materials
- Solid oiled beech : Used for the manufacture of pavilions, this wood gives the speakers robustness and a warm aesthetic.
- Valchromat black oiled : This mass-dyed fiberboard is used for connecting elements, offering both strength and an elegant finish.
- Reinforced acrylic resin : Molded to form the pavilions, this resin ensures optimal sound diffusion while allowing bold shapes.
- 34 mm thick MDF with waxed concrete finish : Used for pedestals, this material offers a stable base and a contemporary aesthetic.
These materials are carefully selected for their acoustic properties and their ability to enhance the speaker design, creating unique pieces that combine art and technology. LiveHorn speakers are available in several distinctive designs such as Grand-Horizon, the centerpiece of the range that embodies the quintessence of French know-how. But it is not alone: the other models of the house, Orion or, nova, make up a coherent audio ecosystem, designed for purists and aesthetes alike.
Grand-Horizon: the pinnacle of sound refinement
With 162 cm high, Its 150 kg and his 4-way architecture, Grand-Horizon is a statement. Each enclosure houses seven speakers, including a woofer of 38 cm, four boomers of 23 cm, and two compression chambers for the midrange and treble. The whole thing is powered by five class D amplifiers, With a linear phase FIR filtering for a perfectly controlled sound scene.
Cabinetmaking, in multi-line beech, Valchromat oiled and acrylic resin, demonstrates a rare sense of detail. Handmade in France, each pair requires five months of work.
USB settings, built-in parametric equalizer, programmable response curve : here, the sound adjusts to your room, your ear, your requirements.

Orion: Sculpted Performance
THEOrion embodies the essence of LiveHorn's expertise in a more accessible floorstanding format, without compromising on sound quality. This active 3-way system integrates four speakers and three amplifiers totaling 600W per speaker. Each speaker is equipped with a 1-inch compression driver with an anodized magnesium diaphragm, offering a sensitivity of 103dB (1W/1m) and a frequency response of 2,3kHz to 20kHz. The midrange is provided by two 12cm cone drivers, equipped with a neodymium magnet system, covering the range of 180Hz to 2,3kHz. The low frequencies, from 23Hz to 180Hz, are reproduced by a 23cm cone driver, with a ferrite magnet system, mounted in a closed load. Linear phase digital filtering (FIR) ensures perfect temporal coherence, while connectivity is provided via digital (SPDIF), analog (RCA) or Bluetooth inputs. The cabinet, handcrafted in France, combines solid oiled beech, acrylic resin, mass-dyed MDF and waxed concrete, for a refined aesthetic and optimized acoustics.

Nova: elegant compactness
La Nova is designed for smaller spaces, offering an elegant and high-performance audio solution. This 2.1 system consists of two passive satellites and an amplified subwoofer. Each satellite incorporates a 12 cm full-range driver from Kartesian, covering a frequency range of 100 Hz to 20 kHz with a sensitivity of 86 dB. The subwoofer, in sealed load, completes the sound spectrum for an immersive experience. The solid beech and oiled Valchromat structure gives the whole a neat aesthetic, while the French artisanal manufacturing guarantees impeccable quality.
These two models, Orion et Nova, illustrate LiveHorn's ability to combine design, craftsmanship and technology to offer acoustic solutions suitable for various environments, while maintaining exceptional sound quality.
