In a world where children yearn for adventures full of sweetness and escape, Circu Magical Furniture has a new way of designing living spaces dedicated to children. Inspired by shores and great imaginary journeys, this new nautical design combines poetry, comfort, and imagination.
Designed for young children, it boasts a soothing atmosphere, attention to detail, and furniture that is both functional and imbued with magic. Each element has been carefully chosen to create a cocoon conducive to awakening, rest, and daydreaming.
Upon entering, a harmonious palette of deep blues, pearly whites, and touches of periwinkle creates a soft and refined ambiance, evoking the ocean horizon. This peaceful setting promotes balance and serenity.
A living space full of imagination
On the ground floor, the space opens onto a welcoming space dedicated to relaxation and creativity. A generously shaped sofa pairs with an enveloping hanging chair, creating an intimate and reassuring reading nook. A lightweight TV stand subtly structures the space while stimulating the imagination.
The diffused light of a lavender-hued pendant lamp complements the play of light and shadow. Nearby, a reading alcove and playful elements invite children to explore, invent stories, and turn every moment into an adventure.
Upstairs, a haven of calm and concentration
Before reaching the sleeping area, a work area has been designed for curious young minds. Comfortable seating, soft-lined desks, and original seating create a study area without sacrificing any comfort.
Upstairs, the atmosphere becomes even more subdued. Shades of blue and natural materials envelop the space in a soothing tranquility. Everything has been designed to evolve with the child, blending aesthetics, functionality, and modularity.
A room designed for growth
Furnishing a child's room is more than just choosing pretty furniture: it's creating an environment that supports development, well-being, and creativity. Layout, textures, and especially color play a fundamental role. Blue inspires confidence and restfulness, and neutral hues create a sense of security. A few brighter touches punctuate the space to encourage creative impulses.
This place then becomes a refuge, a place of exploration, a living space where the child can dream, concentrate, relax and flourish.
Designing a child's room goes far beyond aesthetics. It plays an essential role in their development, daily well-being, and emotional balance. A carefully designed environment fosters independence, concentration, and creativity, while providing a sense of security that is fundamental to self-development.
The choice of colors is crucial. Soft hues like periwinkle blue, white, or beige invite calm and relaxation. Blue, in particular, evokes confidence and serenity, while a few brighter accents stimulate the imagination and energize the space. It is in the subtle harmony of these shades that an atmosphere is created that is both soothing and stimulating, a progressive space, designed to accompany the child throughout their growth.
More than just a room, this bedroom becomes a refuge where every detail meets the fundamental needs of childhood: movement, dreaming, resting, and creating. The nautical inspiration, present with finesse, brings a touch of poetry and escape, while maintaining a certain elegance in the design.
In this space cradled by memories of shores and great imaginary journeys, dreams naturally take to the open sea.
Some emblematic achievements of a design dedicated to childhood
Over the years, several projects have emerged, each exploring a unique universe designed to stimulate children's imaginations while meeting their specific needs. Here are a few examples of projects where functionality, comfort, and imagination meet.
Out of Space Playground
This space-themed playground incorporates immersive elements such as a mini-planetarium, a ball pit inspired by movements in zero gravity, and a rocket ship accessible from a seated or sofa. The set is complemented by furniture with rounded lines and soft finishes, creating an interstellar atmosphere conducive to imaginative play.
Fantasy Air Balloon Lounge
Designed as a reading or relaxation area, this space takes the form of a hot air balloon, suspended or on the ground. The atmosphere is subdued thanks to soft lighting and plush cushions, inviting calm and escape. The enveloping volume and the materials used evoke the lightness of air travel.
Mr. Bunny Bed & Fantasy Air Nightstand
Here, the bed takes on the shape of a pet, with reassuringly rounded shapes. Beside it, a nightstand shaped like a hot air balloon basket continues the travel theme while providing child-friendly storage space. This duo creates a soft and comforting ambiance for bedtime.
Cloud Lamp Big & Cloud Bed
Inspired by the shape of clouds, these two pieces play on soft volumes and textured materials. The bed appears to float, while the lamp diffuses a soft light ideal for falling asleep. Together, they create a peaceful setting conducive to sleep.
Rocky Rocket Sofa/Chair
This rocket-shaped seat, designed as an interactive object, combines comfort and technology. It features a customizable lighting system and an audio function, allowing you to create varied atmospheres depending on the time of day. Its spectacular shape transforms the child's experience, between imagination and everyday life.
These various projects reflect a common goal: to create environments that encourage play, daydreaming, and independence. Each piece becomes a tool for telling a story, exploring a world, or simply relaxing in a reassuring and stimulating setting. Behind the design, a genuine reflection on the needs of childhood guides each creation.
