A little history…
Bailet has created an elegant and refined collection of home linens. Beautiful materials and mineral colors make this young brand an invitation to dream and enjoy the good life.
Making a name for yourself in the highly competitive housing sector is no easy task. Yet Bailet has decided to take on the challenge. Passion and a love of beautiful things are the guiding principles of this brand based in Thonon-les-Bains.
Cotton threads between lake and mountains...
Laurent Bailet, CEO of the Bailet brand, is the heir and current director of a regional real estate group based in Thonon-les-Bains, Haute-Savoie. It was through working with his French and foreign clients, for whom he manages second homes, that Laurent Bailet discovered his passion for home furnishings. Through a concierge service and now with Bailet household linens, he expresses his passion for beautiful, useful, and well-made products.
A novice in the textile sector, Laurent Bailet teamed up with Laurie Mazit, a stylist and now artistic director and project manager for the collections. The young woman has worked in haute couture for the past few years, alongside designers such as Anne-Valerie Hash, Maxime Simoëns, and Octavio Pizarro.
Passion, professionalism and patience gave birth to a first collection presented last September at the Maison & Objet trade fair.
Elegance, well-being and refinement
Bailet's first collection consists of around ten bed linen designs available in mineral shades. Made in Portugal, the collection is crafted from cotton sateen or 120-thread-count percale, embroidered, pleated, or trimmed with piping. The brand also offers a complete range of bath linens in high-quality terrycloth with meticulous finishes.
Bailet aims to offer quality products with a timeless style in keeping with the brand's roots, which draws its inspiration from the shores of Lake Geneva.
A story to weave…
In the coming months, the Bailet team plans to expand the existing ranges with printed bed linen, cushions and beach linen. Subsequently, the opening of its own store could be a new step in the diffusion of thelifestyle made in Thonon-les-Bains.
