Europe's first in-water boat show will take place, as it does every year, in the heart of the French Riviera. For this edition, the Cannes Yachting Festival 2024 can count on a new marina, extending over 2000 m2, to accommodate more than 160 new products and world premieres.
Cannes Yachting Festival 2024:
600 international exhibitors will present nearly 700 boats from 5 to 50 meters, sailing and motor, monohulls, multihulls, rigid, semi-rigid, new or used...
In addition to the Old Port, Port Canto will welcome the Power Boats in its new Marina with nearly 60 exhibitors. For the first time, visitors will be able to tour a length of approximately 2.5 km, with a clear and simplified tour route; each dock will be associated with a type of boat.
The Old Port in the city center is dedicated to the motorboat industry, with 350 new boats ranging from 10 to 50 meters, afloat, monohulls, multihulls, rigid hulls, and semi-rigid boats. Large yachts will be moored in their usual berths at the Jetty and the Super Yachts Extension.
Among the exceptional yachts, you will be able to admire in preview, the Majesty 120, the Neo 430 Roma, or even the Level 43
Maritime shuttles will operate between the Old Port and Port Canto. Starting at 10 a.m., they will run approximately every 15 minutes, with three lines departing from the Old Port to serve both areas of the Port.
On the dining side, gourmet and bistro restaurants are in the spotlight, such as the Panoramic Restaurant on the roof of the Palais des Festivals, the Skipper, the Yachting Café, the Snack Philcat, or the many original food trucks at Port Canto.
A 47TH EDITION UNDER THE SIGN OF INNOVATION
For this edition, the Cannes Yachting Festival has adopted an "Innovation Route" program, to promote innovations that bring about breakthroughs in nautical and eco-responsible technology: motorization, propulsion, waste management, end of life, eco-design, optimization, innovative materials and services, with a specific signage.
"Like all others, the nautical industry is not immune to environmental challenges, and has clearly understood that it must evolve to meet the sector's decarbonization needs and the new demands of boaters. It seemed essential to us to add our stone to the building by highlighting the efforts and energy expended by our exhibitors to build the future of the nautical sector. Work on composites, recyclable resins, more environmentally friendly engines, but also design to serve aerodynamics or connectivity for greater efficiency... the initiatives exist and are numerous! We are happy to highlight them, our common goal being the preservation of our seas and oceans, especially for future generations." concludes Sylvie Ernoult, director of the Cannes Yachting Festival.
So don't miss one of the most festive and remarkable events of the new school year with life-size sea racing cars!
