#Longines: an exceptional sale in tribute to Stefanie Graf and Andre Agassi

Watchmaking partner of Roland Garros, Longines wanted to pay tribute to the two tennis sports champions, Stefanie Graf and Andre Agassi, who have also been partners of the brand for ten years. The Rodin Museum in Paris hosted the prestigious charity gala organized by the watch manufacturer in honor of their respective foundations but also to celebrate 10 years of partnership.

An auction of limited editions specially dedicated for the occasion

To mark the anniversary of its partnership with tennis champions Stefanie Graf and Andre Agassi, Longines has chosen the Rodin Museum in Paris as the venue for this exceptional celebration.

The watch brand has also created a new collection inspired by the Conquest VHP "Very High Precision" collection, entirely dedicated to the occasion. Named "Conquest VHP Stefanie Graf & Andre Agassi Foundations", Longines unveiled it during the gala held on June 2nd as a limited edition. Only 10 men's and 10 women's models were produced.

An auction was held during the gala in aid of charities. Children for Tomorrow and the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education, the two tennis legends' associations. Children of Tomorrow was founded by Stefanie Graf in 1998 to help children and families affected by war. The Andre Agassi Foundation works to promote public education for disadvantaged youth in the United States. Numbers 1/10 will be kept in the watchmaker's museum in Saint Imier, while the other nine sets have been auctioned.

But this gala was also a wonderful opportunity for the watchmaker and the ambassador couple to share their Roland-Garros story with all the guests present, including personalities from the world of sport such as former tennis players Alex Corretja and Arantxa Sanchez, members of the press, and local celebrities. Longines also took the opportunity to express its interest in the champions of tomorrow.

An inspiration drawn from Roland Garros

Combining high technology and sporting character, the Conquest VHP “Very High Conquest” collection adopts a very elegant style and it is on this collection that Longines has created its new collection dedicated to the event.

The men's version of this exceptional Longines watch, honoring the two great champions, boasts a very understated style. It features a black dial with a case back adorned with the Andre Agassi Foundation for Education logo.

The ladies' version, meanwhile, features a white mother-of-pearl dial adorned with a bezel set with 70 diamonds and embellished with an engraving of the Children of Tomorrow association logo. This inspiration comes from Roland-Garros, as the touches of ochre on the hands, indexes, bracelet, and watch evoke the color of the legendary Roland-Garros clay court. The same goes for the box in the emblematic tournament colors that protects the watches, which are numbered from 1 to 10.

Longines itself acquired the number 1 watches at the gala for $100. However, the auction for the remaining nine numbers of each version will continue until July 000nd.

The future owners of these exceptional timepieces, which have their own history and who will be able to contribute to the development of these two charities of the two tennis legends, will receive their watches directly from the hands of Stefanie Graf or Andre Agassi during a visit to the foundations.
