The daughter of a winemaker, Hélène draws deep inspiration from the roots of her native terroir. This family heritage is evident in each of her creations, where she strives to express the authenticity, warmth, and beauty of her region. She transforms her memories and emotions into jewelry, like fragments of personal stories that she offers to the world, playing with shapes, textures, and colors to recreate the richness of the nature that surrounds her.
« I draw my inspiration from the subtleties of nature, and in particular from the nuances that the vine offers throughout the seasons. " confides Hélène Saux. " For example, I draw inspiration from the different shades a bunch of grapes takes on as they ripen: from pale pink that delicately blooms, to deep pink, almost burgundy, reminiscent of the richness of wines. These variations invite me to play with stones and metals to recreate this captivating palette, where each color tells a moment in life. »
Hélène also enjoys working with the softness of tender green, like that of tourmaline, which evokes the freshness of young vine leaves in spring, bursting with light and promise. By carefully choosing stones and finishes, she manages to capture the essence of these first buds and transpose it into jewelry.
« Every detail counts, even in the finishing touches of the setting she adds. " I shape them to recall the lace of a vine leaf, its light and airy texture, but also the natural dynamics of its lines. Everything is designed so that the jewel, once worn, resonates like an ode to the vine and the timeless beauty of nature. »
