The young French company Douze Paris is a fine jewelry brand that works with recycled 18-carat gold and uses carefully selected precious and fine stones… a gold brand that cares about the planet.
Its creator Hermine Sacau perpetuates this ancestral art to adorn precious jewelry women and men. This isn't the only goal; Douze Paris aims to offer a more thoughtful way of consuming. For more responsible creations, and to stop extracting or depleting the soil, the brand recycles gold to transform this noble material and give new life to old jewelry by bringing it up to date.

The creation is thoughtful and slow, it is done through short circuits and with the help of French workshops with remarkable expertise. The art of "slow jewelry" works towards fine jewelry adapted to our times and which can last forever. This notion is reflected in the designs of the jewelry, which can be assembled without reserve, without going out of style... refined and timeless.
Transmission of a passion
Hermine Sacau is the creator and founder of Douze Paris. This young and ambitious entrepreneur, born on December 12, 1992, is also a budding gemologist. The brand was born from her passion for exceptional jewelry and stones… it must be said that she spent many Sundays polishing the family sets passed down by her great-grandmother, born years earlier on the same date. It is therefore a tribute to this woman that we find in the name of the brand… Twelve.
This ancestor, who had to flee Poland, taking only concealable and transportable possessions—her jewelry and gemstones—passed on this gold culture. This treasure from the past continues to fuel Hermine Sacau's passion for jewelry.
The strong and durable alloy of 18-carat gold is composed of 75% pure gold and 25% silver and copper. In fact, this same quality of gold is used by the finest establishments on Place Vendôme.

Group
From the beginning, Douze Paris decided to market products that comply with ethical rules concerning the origin of materials and stones, or the method of manufacture and consumption.
The 18-carat recycled gold comes from RJC-COC certified foundries to ensure metal traceability. All jewelry is made by Parisian workshops working for major brands, promoting short supply chains and a minimal carbon footprint. Only a few creations are produced abroad (Bangkok) due to the specific nature of certain products. These branches are subsidiaries of French workshops with the RJC label, guaranteeing responsible working methods and conditions. All transformations and custom creations are carried out by partner artisans in Paris.
Diamonds have a certificate " Kimberley Process ", an agreement that put an end to the trade in "conflict diamonds."
Old jewelry comes back to life in a thoughtful creation
No overproduction or dormant stock; Hermine Sacau's creations and collections are made to order. This slow jewelry process allows artisans to do their best work and leaves future owners with the excitement of waiting.

In addition to its original creations, Douze Paris offers a second life to antique jewelry, continuing its eco-conscious vision through the transformation or upcycling of jewelry. How can we sustainably produce new jewelry by recycling existing, forgotten, or already mined gold? Melting down 5% of dormant jewelry would be equal to the planet's annual production. This challenge inspires the designer, who offers a responsible and tailor-made service.
To celebrate life's big and small events and to satisfy even the wildest desires, Douze Paris develops personal and unique creations, Custom-Made projects without adding stones or metal. You can thus create your ideal piece of jewelry... ring, necklace, medal or why not a pin, anything is possible! Custom-Made allows you to imagine a unique piece of jewelry, according to your desires, something personal that will delight you but also your loved ones.
