The exclusive Cuvée Céline is the result of a collaboration between two families, Maison Albar Hotels and the Joseph Perrier Champagne House. Cuvée Céline has been available since early December in all hotels in the collection.
The family values of these two Houses are largely shared, which is why the merger was not too difficult... they were able to combine their respective expertise so that together, they could write the continuity of their family history.
The rapprochement of the two families was made possible by the initiative of two valuable people...
there is first Celine Falco, born Albar, 4e generation of a family of hoteliers. Her family has been developing its unique art of hospitality for some 50 years, and Céline continues to bring it to life today in every Maison Albar Hotel, in France and abroad...
then we find Benjamin FourmonThe 6e generation descended from the founder Joseph Perrier and a young, passionate leader. The Maison de Champagne Joseph Perrier was created in 1825 in the heart of Châlons-en-Champagne… a historic, unique and still family-run House. The estate has 23 hectares certified Sustainable Viticulture in Champagne and 3 kilometers of cellars, which allows the Maison Joseph Perrier to devote itself daily to its quest for excellence in the development of all its vintages.
Unique assembly
The two teams, Maisons Albar Hotels and Maison de Champagne Joseph Perrier, came together to create a unique blend in symbiosis.
Thus, Logan Thouillez, sommelier of Maisons Albar Hotel, was able to declare: “ The art of hospitality at Maisons Albar Hotels involves a warm welcome and a close relationship with our guests, to offer personalized and memorable experiences. We therefore wanted a champagne that was both delicious and appetizing, without neglecting its gastronomic potential. ».
To achieve this result, Nathalie Laplaige, Cellar Master at Joseph Perrier, worked hard to come up with various blends. The teams from both houses organized blind tastings to refine and determine the perfect pairing for this magnificent beverage… 62% Chardonnay, 15% Pinot Noir and 23% Meunier, from the 2015 harvest, and dosed as extra-brut (2gr/L).
The result... the Cuvée Céline by Joseph Perrier immediately triggers a certain emotion. We feel the subtle hints of pear and nectarines, we greatly appreciate its delicious and creamy bubbles... in a wine and dish pairing, it is perfect to accompany a fatty fish, lacquered red tuna for example, but also with juicy poultry and creamy risotto as a garnish.
