The expert on Bordeaux's finest wines is teaming up with the best in gastronomy to organize two exceptional gourmet events specially dedicated to connoisseurs. Two wine-pairing dinners and a Master Class, presented by La Réserve de Paris and Château Cos d'Estournel, both owned by Michel Reybier. These two dinners will delight lovers of excellence! They will take place on November 14 and December 6.
The best of gastronomy and oenology come together for dinner on November 14
We know the Château Cos d'Estournel, located in Saint-Estèphe in Gironde, for its know-how and expertise in producing wines that are among the greatest vintages of Bordeaux. Wine lovers will have the opportunity to discover the exceptional flavors of its wines in all their subtlety, during this extraordinary dinner. Indeed, a menu will be specially designed around a pairing.

This dinner will take place on November 14th at the famous La Réserve restaurant in Paris., Le Gabriel. Cos d'Estournel's Director of Development, Dimitri Augenblick, will be on hand. The evening will feature seven courses, the brainchild of Jérôme Banctel, Chef of the two-Michelin-starred restaurant, and Head Sommelier Aurélien Gil-Artagan. This dinner will showcase the treasures of the Château's cellar (including a rare 7 Cos d'Estournel) alongside refined dishes that will delight your taste buds. Perfect, mouth-watering pairings. An appetizer, for example, will include scallops from the Baie de Seine, Osciètre caviar, and Jerusalem artichoke essence. The entree will feature duck foie gras, beets, and candied figs with Tasmanian berries. For fish, you'll have mushroom ravioli and black shallot confit. On the cheese side, enjoy the light Vacherin with truffles.
To participate in this exceptional dinner, you'll need to book in advance. The restaurant will open at 19:30 p.m. Treat yourself to this culinary delight for €450 per person, including an aperitif and drinks.
A master class and a pairing dinner on December 6th
It's during this event on December 6th that you'll have the opportunity to discover all the secrets of Cos d'Estournel wines. It will take place in the magnificent, elegant and intimate setting of the Duc de Morny Library, a cultural hotspot. Two experts will lead the Master Class, including Cos d'Estournel's Director of Development, Dimitri Augenblick, and Aurélien Gil-Artagnan, Head Sommelier of La Réserve de Paris-Hotel and Spa.

You will be introduced to oenology during the evening, you will be able to learn the basics of tasting and learn about the riches and mysteries of the Cos terroir. All those who participate in the Master Class will be able to end the evening with a dinner in perfect harmony with the wines of the restaurant La Pagode de Cos. 10 guests will have the opportunity to gather around a unique table d'hôtes. They will therefore be able to continue the exchanges and the discussion in an informal way, with the speakers of the Master Class among them. The latter will be willing to give you the answers to all your questions and will be proud to share their knowledge with you!
To participate in the Master Class which will take place on Thursday, December 6th from 19 p.m. at the library, you'll need to budget 90 euros per person. You'll obviously need to book in advance. And if you'd like to indulge in the excellent wines at the Pagode de Cos restaurant, budget 150 euros. Please note that this pairing dinner will be reserved exclusively for Master Class participants. It will begin at 20:30 p.m.
