SKØPITONE SISKØ

SKØPITONE SISKØ

SKØPITONE SISKØ is the musical project of Brest native Elouan Jégat and his Breton friends (including Vincent Roudaut, a collaborator of the band THOMAS HOWARD MEMORIAL). After "Ghost" in 2016, Elouan reworked his student projects and released "Kaleïdøscope" at the end of 2018. The 4 members The combo are preparing an album for 2020 and are taking the opportunity to release a few concert dates during the summer. It is in the superb 180 space in Sainte Bazeille that we attend the performance of SKØPITONE SISKØ, a place also serving as a residence for artists preparing to record.

In 1 hour and 11 tracks

Ugo, Baptiste, Vincent, and Elouan will prove that they have a promising future and that next year could be a major turning point in their careers. The entirety of the latest EP is performed, and the best live moments will prove to be the same as the most effective on record. With bass predominating on many tracks, "Sad Day" and "Kaleidoscope" stand out in the first part of the set, particularly thanks to the very instrumental finale. The synth-pop foundations claimed by the author resurface as he lies down on stage to begin "In Cage," one of the band's captivating tracks. It is highly recommended to watch the two recent videos that mix psychedelia, bass, and that haunting voice that never leaves you.

SKØPITONE SISKØ

After a brilliant encore from 2016 ("All The Same"), SKØPITONE SISKØ shifted into high gear to enter the two highlights of the concert: The superb "Randomized" which is the collective's most accomplished track and the unreleased "Take Time My Time" which I would describe as a magnificent surprise of the evening. As an aside, the group revealed that they had very recently composed it for the upcoming album.

In summary, the UPTON PARK stable continues to produce qualitative groups by revealing experienced talents to the public. SKØPITONE SISKØ is a clever mix of music-loving friends that Elouan and Vincent are pulling to the top. To be followed with interest. Note that the Château Rouge – Espace 180 – has gîtes and a family welcome.
