Lalique captures the living soul of nature

Lalique captures the living soul of nature: The poetry of nature for the Terramineral collection Chapter II

SILEX vases
In the silence of winter, when the forests seem to hold their breath and the air shimmers with frost, Lalique captures the living soul of nature.
The house crystallizes a fleeting moment, an invisible emotion, a fragment of pure beauty.
Swans glide over crystal waters, smooth and deep like a mirror.
Wild horses emerge from the mist, free, majestic, eternal.
Each creation transcends mere form.
It is movement captured by light, emotion sculpted in crystal.
Lalique sculpts nature: mysterious, untamed, sublime.

Terramineral II Collection

A sculptural odyssey to the heart of earthly power
After the resounding success of Chapter I, Lalique unveils the continuation of Chapter II of his Terramineral collection.
This new stage is an even deeper dive into the heart of matter, a sculptural odyssey inspired by telluric forces, volcanic rocks and the metamorphoses of the Earth.
A spectacular collection where crystal and the power of nature merge into decorative and jewelry pieces. The jewelry, true feats of craftsmanship, stands out with its bold shapes and new colors: the colorless crystal, clear as a spring, combined with 18-carat yellow gold, and the blue crystal Persepolis, shining like frozen mineral lava, set in silver.

Terramineral I Legacy

As a reminder, at the beginning of 2025, Lalique unveiled the first Terramineral chapter, inspired by the raw richness of earth minerals.
The creations of this first opus celebrated stone landscapes and steep reliefs: the Canyon, with its earthy tones and rocky reliefs; the Persepolis, deep blue inspired by volcanic springs; and thecolorless timeless, symbol of purity and elegance.
Terramineral II goes even further: it does not simply represent matter, it animates it, transfigures it, transforms it into a crystalline writing where each piece embodies a force, an energy, a movement.
Sculptures & Decorative Objects
The major pieces of Terramineral II reveal the exceptional know-how of Lalique artisans, who subtly play on the contrasts between satin and transparent crystal.
BASALT Vase – Limited edition of 45 pieces
A monumental masterpiece, the vase Basalt is born from a rare technical feat: the double injection of gray and colorless crystal.
This delicate alchemy creates contrasts of light and shadow, evoking a flow of lava frozen in stone.
The matter appears to be in motion, as if the crystal had just burst forth from the bowels of the Earth.
Each vase, blown and shaped by hand, becomes a fragment of a volcano captured in transparency.
Basalt is more than a decorative object: it is a sculpted geology, a memory of the elements fixed in the crystal.
MAGMA Bottle – Limited edition of 500 pieces
Incandescent block, the bottle Magma appears as a fragment of molten lava, stopped in its tracks.
Its thick walls contain an inner glow that seems to vibrate under the light.
Designed to shelter 120 ml of Lalique Extrait de Parfum by Lalique, this bottle combines power and sensuality.
Shadow and transparency intersect in an aesthetic tension, as if the perfume itself became the warm breath of the Earth.
Magma is not just a bottle: it is a olfactory ritualPlaced on a dressing table or console, it becomes a totem, carrying a primitive and vital energy.
GORILLA Sculpture – Limited edition of 38 pieces
With sculpture Gorilla, Lalique pushes the art of glassmaking to its paroxysm.
Made in intense black crystal thanks to the rare technique of lost wax casting, each piece expresses a contained brute force, a mixture of tension and serenity.
The gorilla, an emblem of power and protection, is depicted in a pose that is both haughty and meditative. Its gaze seems to traverse time, carrying an ancestral memory. In its powerful volumes, each fold of material reflects the hand of the glassmaker and the centuries-old mastery of Lalique.
This exceptional piece, produced in only 38 copies, is a true collector's item. It embodies an encounter between the savagery of the animal kingdom and absolute mastery of crystalMore than a sculpture, the Gorilla is a presence, a guardian, an incarnation of the silent force of nature.
SILEX Cups
FLINT Vases & Cups
In the line of Terramineral, the Silex vases and cups translate the alchemy between fluid lines and rough reliefs.
Crystal, worked in shades canyon, gray and colorless, evokes rock carved by erosion, but also the veins of a rare mineral polished by time.
Each piece reveals a dual identity : both raw and refined. The smooth surfaces capture the light and diffuse it like a mirror of water, while the satiny parts recall the roughness of primitive stones. This tension between softness and roughness reflects the entire philosophy of Terramineral: uniting wild nature and artisanal perfection.
The Silex cups, placed on a table, become miniature landscapes where the crystal tells the memory of the Earth. The vases, for their part, stand like organic columns, symbols of solidity and eternity.

CALDERA wall light

With theCaldera wall light, Lalique explores the luminous dimension of Terramineral.
Made in satin crystal engraved with fine lines, it diffuses a soft and poetic light which dresses the space.
Its name refers to the collapse of a volcano, leaving a vast crater. This geological inspiration here becomes light object : the engraved striations recall the cooled lava flows, while the transparency of the crystal evokes the sky above the fault.
The Caldera wall lamp is not just a light source: it is a wall sculptureIt transforms light into matter, projecting moving reflections onto the walls, like reminiscences of fire and rock. In an interior, it creates an atmosphere that is both mineral and celestial, a bridge between Earth and light.
Terramineral Jewelry – Sculpted Elegance
If sculptures and decorative objects translate the telluric power of nature, the Terramineral jewelry are its intimate brilliance.
Here, the crystal becomes an adornment, worn directly in contact with the skin.
The materials
The collection is available in two color worlds:
The colorless crystal on 18-carat gold, a symbol of purity and timelessness.
The Blue Crystal Persepolis on silver, vibrant mineral luster of almost cosmic intensity.
These associations highlight the richness of contrasts: the colorless plays with the light like a frozen drop of water, while the Persepolis blue captures the reflections like a precious stone born from the volcanic depths.
Creations
Six models make up the collection: rings, bangles, earrings, necklaces and cord bracelets.
Each room is designed as a miniature sculpture, both contemporary and timeless.
• The Cabochon ring, an iconic piece by Lalique, is enriched with an exclusive nuance: the Crystal Canyon, a deep color with earthy accents. It embodies the mineral spirit of this collection, like a fragment of rock worn on the finger.
• The bangles and bracelets translate the circular force, the continuity of the cycles of nature.
• The collars play on verticality, recalling the mineral veins that cross the rock.
• The earrings, more daring, embody the contemporary energy of the house, asserting a sculptural style in everyday life.
Each jewel thus becomes a mineral shine, a piece of Earth transposed into an object of desire.
Heritage & Vision
All the pieces are designed by Marc Larminaux and the Lalique Creation Studio, in constant fidelity to the vision of Rene Lalique.
The spirit of the house remains unchanged: celebrating nature, not by copying it, but by capturing his breath, his rhythm, his soul.
The color palette
• The Canyon, with warm, earthy tones, embodies rock and time.
• The Grey, deep and elegant, recalls mineral strength and mist.
• TheColorless, pure and timeless, symbolizes the original light.
• The Persepolis Blue, intense and captivating, evokes the depth of volcanic springs and the brilliance of ancient civilizations.
These shades reflect the duality between strength and softness, darkness and transparency, matter and light.
The art of gesture
At Lalique, each piece is born from a intimate collaboration between designers and artisans.
The breath of the glassmaker, the precision of the engraver, the hand of the gilder or the model maker: all participate in this collective work where matter becomes language.
Marc Larminaux reminds us: “Imagining a collection means capturing a breath of nature and inscribing it in crystal.”
This approach, both instinctive and demanding, places Lalique in a state of continuity: remaining faithful to its heritage while engaging in dialogue with the present.
Marc Larminaux – The hand and the material
I had the privilege of speaking with Marc Larminaux.
A passionate, approachable creator, deeply influenced by the world and DNA of Lalique. His gaze shines when he talks about glass; his language is that of gesture and material.
Graduated from a Master's degree in industrial design from Saint Martins College of Art and Design in London and a BTS ceramic and glass design at the Olivier de Serres school in Paris, he joined Lalique in 2002.
Twenty-three years later, he directs its creation with an instinctive vision deeply rooted in glassmaking expertise.
“Now artistic and creative director, working closely with six designers, I think about each piece very instinctively, putting myself at the service of the glassmaker who will create it. (…) Glassmakers are artists, and for them to produce the most beautiful pieces possible, the project must inspire them.”
Its approach is based on a simple and demanding philosophy: think with the hand of the craftsman.
Rather than multiplying the effects, it seeks to simplify the gesture to free expression. Each creation is a subtle balance between contemporary design et timeless heritage.
“I create in close collaboration with the artisans of the Alsatian factory whose talent has been passed down from father to son, for several generations.”
For Marc Larminaux, creation is not limited to aesthetic research or following trends. It is above all a dialogue with matter and a tribute to know-how.
"I don't focus solely on trends, because the Lalique style, since its creator in the 1920s, is timeless. What obsesses me above all is the craftsmanship."
For him, imagining a collection means capturing a breath of nature and inscribe it in the crystal.
It is also orchestrating the meeting of multiple talents: glassmakers, model makers, gilders, marble workers... all united by the search for a joint work.
From this alchemy between force of nature et hand poetry, Terramineral II is born.
A collection where Marc Larminaux's mark can be seen in every detail, with humility and passion.
With Terramineral II, Lalique signs a masterful chapter where crystal becomes a memory of the Earth and a projection of light.
Each piece, from the monumental Basalt to the intimate jewel, tells a story: that of the telluric forces which shape our world and of the human hand which sublimates them.
This collection is not only a tribute to nature: it captures its essence, between brutality and refinement, darkness and brilliance, power and poetry.
Terramineral II affirms more than ever Lalique's vocation: to sculpt the invisible, give form to emotion, and transform crystal into palpable eternity.
The Terramineral Chapter II collection has been available since September 8, 2025 in all Lalique boutiques and onLalique.com.
