The International Peace Festival (IPF-FIP) has become an official event in the city of TORONTO, Canada.
The 2024 gala will be held on September 28, 2024 at the Omni King Edward Hotel in TorontoThe event will kick off at 17:30 p.m. with a cocktail reception, followed by a three-course dinner, live music, and a lively afterparty with dancing and nighttime refreshments. Special guests, inspirational speeches, and a silent auction will enhance the evening.
Funds raised during this evening will support the programs of the International Peace Alliance and McMaster Children's Hospital, with a focus on cultural diplomacy and the promotion of peace throughout the world.
The gala also includes access to events earlier in the day, such as the international conference "Cultural Heritage and Peace" and the festival's awards ceremony.
Among the appointed ambassadors, we can distinguish the Commander CdR Don Maestro, an internationally acclaimed composer, musician, and conductor with a distinguished career spanning several decades. A loyal supporter of the festival, he is notably the musical director of the International Peace Festival, where he plays a key role in promoting peace through music. His career has been marked by prestigious distinctions, including the Ordre de CommanderCdR des Arts in 1993 in Belgium, and he has won numerous awards, including the “Grand Prix Centenaire du Japon” in 1987 and the “Gold Medal for Musical Composition” in Europe.
During this festival, he will perform on the piano The Flame of Humanity, his musical creation in favor of peace and harmony.
As a composer and performer, Don Maestro is renowned for his varied talents as an organist, pianist, violinist, and conductor. His work reflects a profound mastery of the arts, enriched by training at prestigious musical institutions in Europe. He is also involved in international projects such as the MAESTRO International Music Bank and the MAESTRO World Academy. He is also the founding president of LOVE TO HUMANITY 2024 WMSH WORLD MUSIC SAVES HUMANITY, an association dedicated to supporting and promoting artists and music worldwide.
