Crazy Horse, immersion in the icon of Parisian cabaret

Crazy Horse, immersion in the icon of Parisian cabaret

A magical evening in the heart of the Golden Triangle: located on Avenue George V, a stone's throw from Avenue Montaigne and the Pont de l'Alma, the Crazy Horse has been a Parisian institution for over seventy years.

For a truly Parisian experience, there's nothing like starting on the Pont de l'Alma. Every hour, the Eiffel Tower sparkles for five minutes. Arrive at 22 p.m. to witness this breathtaking light show. Then, simply cross the street to reach the Crazy Horse Paris in less than five minutes. A perfect sequence that immerses you in the elegance and magic of the capital.

An intimate and cozy room

From the moment we enter, the tone is set. The cabaret reveals a cozy, elegant atmosphere, with its red banquettes and intimate decor. We take our seats in this human-sized room. That evening, the ticket specifies that we are attending performance number 57 since the cabaret's premiere on May 525, 19. A dizzying number, which underlines the longevity and popularity of this Parisian entertainment mecca.

A charismatic master of ceremonies

Starting at 22 p.m., the evening opens with the entrance of the master of ceremonies, the “Crazy Entertainer.” This evening, Stan Believe leads the dance. His performances before the show and between the dancers’ tableaux are a true ode to love and the present moment. Perched on stiletto heels, dressed in gloves and a corset, and wearing a Zulu hat, he transports the audience into his world, at the crossroads of fantasy and emotion. Through his gestures, his humorous touches, and his references to pop culture and the ballroom scene, he breathes a breath of freedom and extravagance. With humor and elegance, he revisits a few pop songs, including, of course, an acoustic version of “Crazy” by Gnarls Barkley. His stage presence immediately sets the audience in the mood and sets the stage for the big curtain call at 22:30 p.m.

Totally Crazy, a hypnotic show

Created in 2017, “Totally Crazy” celebrates over seventy years of creativity. The 1-minute show blends timeless classics with contemporary creations, all driven by meticulous choreography and spectacular lighting effects.
It features paintings by Philippe Decouflé, such as “Upside Down” and “Rougir de désir”, and more recent numbers such as “Vertiges”, created in 2024. To the song “Human” by Sevdaliza, the projections imagined by Olivier Simola transform the dancers into mysterious creatures, halfway between living art and illusion.
These poetic moments are complemented by unexpected collaborations: “Voodoo” by Christian Louboutin, “Queen of Hearts” by Chantal Thomass, and “Undress To Kill,” a futuristic striptease created by Dita Von Teese and Ali Mahdavi. Each piece exalts femininity, blending glamour, modernity, and impertinence.

Andrée Deissenberg, the artistic soul of Crazy

Behind this unique vision is Andrée Deissenberg, Executive Director of Creation and Development since 2006. With an innovative perspective, she has modernized the cabaret without betraying its heritage. Her approach is based on a powerful idea: to showcase powerful, free, sensual women who are rooted in their time. Thanks to her, the Crazy Horse isn't just a cabaret; it's become an artistic laboratory that attracts both fashion designers and contemporary artists.

The Crazy Girls, icons of Parisian glamour

Since 1951, more than 800 dancers have graced the Crazy stage. Today, the troupe is made up of approximately 30 artists from around the world, 11 of whom perform each night in “Totally Crazy.” Their training is demanding: three to five months of intensive practice before officially becoming a “Crazy Girl,” with a stage name assigned upon their first public appearance. All share a solid foundation in classical dance, enhanced by the choreographic precision and sensual expressiveness of cabaret. Among the iconic figures of the past, we remember Rita Renoir, Lova Moore, and Aria Crescendo. The Crazy Girls continue to perpetuate this tradition of excellence and mystery.

Unusual anecdotes that forge the legend

The Crazy Horse also has its share of secrets and traditions. Each year, 2 pairs of stockings and 500 liters of makeup are used. The dancers wear a lipstick specially created for them, the famous “Rouge Crazy.” The majority of their shoes bear the Christian Louboutin label.
We also remember that Charles Aznavour took his first steps on this legendary stage. More recently, the Crazy Horse was honored in the series “Emily in Paris”, further proof of its international aura.

Guest stars over time

Since 2006, the cabaret has opened its stage to prestigious guest stars. Dita Von Teese was the first, followed by Arielle Dombasle, Pamela Anderson, and Conchita Wurst. These exclusive performances enrich the Crazy Horse's already rich history and attract an audience curious to discover icons in a new light.
In September 2025, the event promises to be exceptional: Karol G, Colombian urban pop superstar, will become the cabaret's first Latina guest star. Eight exclusive performances from September 25 to 28 will mark a new chapter in the life of this living legend.

Crazy Horse Paris, an unmissable experience

Attending a show at the Crazy Horse is like immersing yourself in a unique part of thelifestyle French style. More than a cabaret, it's a world where glamour, impertinence, and artistic expertise blend together. The combination of an intimate venue, vintage champagne, and a daring show creates a suspended moment that will never be forgotten.

With prices starting at €119 per person, the Crazy Horse Parish is a high-end experience, at the crossroads of entertainment, fashion, and artistic performance. Whether you're a Parisian or a visitor, experiencing an evening at the Crazy Horse Parish is a taste of the quintessence of Parisian elegance, glamour, and excitement.
