On the occasion of the 10th anniversary of the Biennale, the Ateliers d'Art de France confirm the position of revelations as a global reference in the field of creation and craftsmanship and lead the development of a sector where cultural success rhymes with commercial success.
The international biennial organized by the Ateliers d'Art de France, which closed Sunday at the Grand Palais Ephémère in Paris, particularly showcased Quebec creations. 36 visitors were able to meet 400 creators from 350 countries over five days to admire Adrien Gardère's scenography, perfectly suited to the Grand Palais Ephémère. revelations asserts its status as a must-see event on the international scene. The growth and rise of the Salon are reflected in its selection and content, as well as in an increasingly informed and enthusiastic public.

« Révélations is created by and for qualified professionals in the fine crafts and all stakeholders in the sector. Ten years later, the Biennale continues to assert its role as an international benchmark in the creative world and continues to showcase the talents of tomorrow. Much more than a trade fair, it is a manifesto affirming the identity of the fine crafts and their important role in our culture and the global creative economy. »Says Stéphane Galerneau, President of the French Art Fair and Workshop.
A more demanding selection for quality visitors
The hard work carried out by the Artistic Orientation Committee (independent and international) resulted this year in a very high quality of exhibitors. More than 36 visitors, art lovers, collectors but also specifiers, architects, decorators, project managers, hoteliers-restaurateurs and other renowned chefs… came to the Grand Palais Ephémère to meet the exhibitors, in search of extraordinary unique pieces or custom-made objects.

A dense and enthusiastic crowd filled the aisles of the show from the very first day, Wednesday, June 7, during which—for the first time—visits were offered exclusively to specifiers. The influx of these specifiers (8% of visitors) is considered complementary to international trade shows, and comes mainly from Paris and its surrounding region, but also from Asia, the Middle East, the United Kingdom, Belgium, Switzerland, Germany, the Netherlands, the USA, Italy, Australia, and Eastern Europe.
revelations in figures: 350 designers from 29 countries, 36 visitors, 400% of whom were international and 5% of whom were specifiers, including architects, decorators, project managers and hotel and restaurant owners, as well as more than 8 journalists.
Unmissable economic and cultural event
At the same time, many exhibitors made good sales at the show, particularly during the opening evening. Designers, for their part, highlighted the wealth of contacts established with industry professionals, which will lead to orders and collaborations in the short and medium term. As some designers pointed out, the presence of many professionals and influencers at the Biennale makes this show a privileged marketplace, and these 5 days largely allowed for prospecting several years of work.
In the spotlight at this edition, Quebec was able to position its creativity and expertise on the international scene of crafts, and benefited from the warm welcome of the Biennale's public, prescribers as well as the general public.

Through Révélations, the ambition of the professional arts and crafts union, Ateliers d'Art de France, has always been to promote businesses and the entire arts and crafts sector at the local, regional, national, and international levels. The Biennale is a privileged platform for building and developing the future of the sector with French and foreign partners and French and international public institutions. The Biennale has notably welcomed visits from ambassadors from China, Egypt, Cyprus, Azerbaijan, Ecuador, Rwanda, and Chile, who thus affirmed their support for the creation of arts and crafts in their territories.
Stéphane Galerneau taking advantage of the visits of Rima Abdul-Malak, Minister of Culture, Mathieu Lacombe, Minister of Culture and Communications of Quebec,Buckskin Brais, wife of the Prime Minister of Quebec,Eva Nguyen Binh, director of the French Institute,Anne-Laure Blin, MP for Maine et Loire, and president of the Study Group on Crafts in the National Assembly, was able to reiterate her desire to shape the future of crafts with all public institutions.
