Atelier Des Ors, or thelifestyle perfumed

A golden light floods the room, like a suspended breath. We watch the bottle bask in the late afternoon sun; the gold glitter comes alive, dancing gently within the precious juice. Even before the perfume touches the skin, something happens. An emotion arises, instinctive, almost intimate, the feeling of a moment one longs to savor like a fragment of beauty. Because at Atelier Des OrsPerfume is not simply an everyday gesture: it is a way of living, feeling and contemplating the world.

Founded in 2015, this French haute parfumerie house has quickly established itself among the finest olfactory brands. Its strength? A sincere and rare vision: making beauty accessible to the soulA subtle balance between art, craftsmanship and golden gleam.

The DNA of a refined house

In the beginning, there was a man guided by curiosity and a sense of beauty: Jean-Philippe ClermontA traveler, an aesthete, sensitive to materials and creation, he has always seen perfume as a jewel: an adornment that one wears as much to reveal oneself as to envelop oneself in emotion.

His wish is simple, almost vital: to imagine perfumes capable of touching, of nourishing memories, of accompanying those who wear them through their recollections and life moments. A perfumery that tells a story, that connects, that moves. A cultural and human perfumery, shaped by encounters, art, and the mastery of the perfect touch.

Located in Grasse, within the Villa Primerose, a historic building dating from 1886, the house embodies thelifestyle In the French style at its noblest: the pursuit of excellence, meaning, and beauty. Here, nothing is gratuitous, nothing is decorative. Every detail counts and tells a story.

Gold as a signature

You can't talk about Atelier Des Ors without mentioning gold, its true hallmark. 24-carat gold glitterThe shimmering gold in the bottles is not mere ornamentation. It is a statement. A symbol of light, eternity, and the sacred. Gold anchors the house in French craftsmanship and in the idea that perfume is a precious object.

The bottle itself was conceived as a sculpture. Its elegant lines evoke both modern design and the refinement of vintage perfume bottles. On the back, engraved rays suggest light and fragrance trails. At the top, a zamac cap is marked with a seahorse. This seal is inspired by the hallmark that certifies 24K gold, but it's also a nod to the part of the brain that stores our most powerful emotions: the hippocampus. Everything is connected. Perfume, gold, and memory.

A creative duo: Jean-Philippe Clermont and Marie Salamagne

From the very first hours at the house, a duo was formed: that of Jean-Philippe Clermont et Mary Salamander, perfumer at dsm-firmenich. Their rapport is rare, fluid, almost effortless. Marie composes her perfumes like a painter creates a canvas, playing on contrasts, textures, and olfactory colors. Jean-Philippe brings intuition, exacting standards, and a love of beauty.

This creative dialogue gave birth to an immediately recognizable olfactory identity: elegant, luminous, textured, always full of sensitivity.

Black Collection: travel, mystery and character

The Black Collection delves into the stories and landscapes that shaped the founder, particularly his deep connection to the Middle East. Each fragrance unfolds like a story, a journey, with its shadows and its light.

Here you can breathe in the opulence of noble materials, the warmth of spices, the sensuality of woods, the depth of amber. Feline Moon captivates with its dark magnetism mixed with vanilla; Rose Omeyyade sublime the Damask rose draped in wood and amber; Red Saray It warms the heart with its date notes and welcoming spirit. And then there's Tears of the Desert, Fawn Iris, Sacred Leather… perfumes that leave an imprint, almost a memory on the skin.

A collection for those who love sensual, inhabited, narrated scents.

Collection Blanche: When perfume becomes art

Inspired by The Beethoven Frieze Inspired by Gustav Klimt, the Collection Blanche pays homage to the idea that perfume can be a total art form, a eighth artConceived as a triptych, it explores three phases of human experience:
Nuda Veritas opens the quest for truth and sincerity towards oneself,
Twilight of Souls it addresses the zone of turmoil, desire, and temptation,
Choir of Angels Embrace the luminous joy, the one that saves through art and emotion.

Poetic, sensitive and deeply introspective, it is undoubtedly the most philosophical collection in the house.

Riviera Collection: The Splendor of the French Riviera

The Riviera Collection captures the very essence of the French Riviera: its light, its nonchalance, its natural chic. It evokes the elegant carefree spirit of the 50s to 70s, winding roads in a convertible, afternoons on Riva docks, skin warmed by the sun.

Fresh, sunny, refined, the collection celebrates the gentleness of the South and the pure beauty of the moment.
Riviera Drive It translates into aromatic breath and freedom.
Pomelo Riviera shines like salty skin after the sea.
Riviera Lazuli warms with its amber wood like a summer memory,
Riviera Sunrise It illuminates the senses like a sunrise over Menton.

A luminous, elegant and resolutely French collection.

Frivolity Collection: Celebrating life in style

Because'lifestyle French is also appreciated in joy and celebration; Atelier Des Ors has imagined the Frivolity Collection, a refined nod to the Roaring Twenties and their taste for unashamed pleasure.

Here, two symbols of gourmet luxury find their way into perfumery: the champagne and caviarThanks to Headspace technology, their natural scents were captured and then reinterpreted.
Pink Me Up Sparkling, floral and musky, like a glass of rosé champagne,
Noir By Night reveals a sensual and amber facet around a subtle and bold caviar accord.

Two fragrances that celebrate style, joy, and that touch of frivolity that makes life more beautiful. A deliberate ode to lightness… deliciously French.

More than just a perfume house, Atelier Des Ors champions a vision of luxury where exacting standards meet emotion. The bottles are to be contemplated like works of art, the perfumes experienced as immersive experiences, and the collections as cultural invitations. In a fast-paced world, the house reminds us of the importance of slowing down, admiring, and savoring.

To put beauty at the heart of life. A profoundly French mission that the house accomplishes with discreet, yet dazzling grace.
