Depielo of the Alpine team wins the GP Explorer 2 race

Depielo won the second Explorer GP at Le Mans after a race full of twists and turns. Alpine Racing pays tribute to its driver Depielo for this brilliant victory and congratulates all the drivers who flew the brand's colors with pride.

The 2023 edition sets new records and offers Alpine the opportunity to reach an ever-growing fan base. Alpine has organized numerous events, culminating in an on-track performance in two BWT Alpine F1 Team cars driven by Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, to the cheers of a delighted crowd.

The second GP Explorer race organized by Squeezie was won by Alpine driver Depielo. Starting from pole position, he took command of the race from the start and held it until the end. After finishing second in 2022, he finally hoisted the trophy onto the top step of the podium, flanked by his coach Esteban Ocoan and BWT Alpine F1 Team driver Pierre Gasly.

Alpine sincerely congratulates all the GP Explorer teams and especially its drivers, who excelled in the stifling heat of the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans and put on an incredible show: AnaOnAir finished fifth, Théodort and Djilsi were ranked 13th respectivelye and 14e as well as Manon and Maxime Biaggi who, unfortunately, collided at the start of the race and were forced to abandon.

Alpine participates in GP Explorer 2

GP Explorer 2 once again drew a capacity crowd of over 60 fans to Le Mans, and a record online audience of over 000 million people streamed live on Twitch. On Saturday, September 1,3, 9 content creators, divided into teams of two, including 24 first-timers, will become drivers for a race and compete in their Formula 2 cars on the Bugatti Circuit in Le Mans.

Numerous activities were organized by Alpine throughout this splendid day: notably a demonstration of the two BWT Alpine F1 Team single-seaters by Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon, on the legendary Le Mans circuit; a series of Hot Laps at the wheel of a fleet of A110s driven by the Band of Racers Alpine with F1 drivers Victor Martens, Raphaël Astier, Antoine Leclerc, Margaux Verza, Laurent Hurgon and David Praschl; the A110 which was specially restyled for the occasion, in the colors of the Alpine drivers; and the A110 Pikes Peak which was also exhibited during the event, it had just returned from the legendary American hill climb where it finished on the podium.

The GP Explorer is a racing event organized by French YouTuber Squeezie. It brings together many well-known YouTubers and streamers who drive Formula 4 cars after extensive training. The inaugural GP Explorer race took place on October 8, 2022, attracting over a million viewers on Twitch.

The GP Explorer race takes place on the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans. The route begins on the famous 24 Hours of Le Mans straight, passing through the famous Dunlop Bend under the pedestrian bridge. GP Explorer 2 took place on September 9, 2023, also on the Bugatti circuit in Le Mans.

According to Squeezie, organizing an event like the GP Explorer costs between "three and four million euros." The French YouTuber revealed the information during an episode of Domingo's Popcorn show on the Twitch streaming platform.

GP Explorer is streamed on Twitch on Squeezie's channel. The first edition set a record for viewership in France, with 1 concurrent viewers. A few weeks later, the record was broken during the Eleven All-Star Football Tournament, organized by AmineMaTue. But this year, the second edition of GP Explorer attracted some 044 million viewers.
