The Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival, which will take place from Thursday 7 to Sunday 10 December 2023, announces a brand new category for classic car enthusiasts… the Dubai Classics. Owners of such vehicles can register and participate in the Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival historic motorsport event.
The cars will be on display in the paddock and will participate in three 20-minute demonstrations at the Dubai Autodrome. Owners can register HERE]. , and registration includes two event passes. Participants in the famous 1000 Miglia Experience UAE with an eligible car can extend their driving adventure by registering in the “ Dubai Classics ».
This year, the Gulf Historic Dubai GP Revival will feature a brand new category, “ Dubai Classics ", which will bring together 30 of Dubai's unique classic cars. The vehicles, which must be registered as classics, will be on display in the paddock before participating in a 20-minute pit lane session each day of the three-day event. Participants in the prestigious 1000 Miglia Experience UAE rally can also join the Revival, provided they compete in an eligible vehicle, to cap off an unforgettable week of motoring fun.
While iconic Formula 1 and sports cars have already been confirmed for the event, this new category will give classic car enthusiasts the opportunity to see stunning classic road cars up close, as well as historic racing cars.
For those with an eligible car, registration includes entry to all three days of the event. Participants must leave their car on display from Thursday, December 7th to Sunday, December 10th, giving enthusiasts the opportunity to admire some of Dubai's rarest and most valuable classic cars.
With only 30 places available in the exclusive category “ Dubai Classics », the number of places is limited and registration costs AED 1 per car, with an additional AED 000 for a passenger (+200 years). Participants must present a complete file for the vehicle, including registration documents, a photo of the driver's license and a photo of the car.
These classic cars will form the centerpiece of an immersive race weekend that will offer motorsport fans, old and new, an invigorating experience that will transport them to a time when style and class were inimitable. The paddock will become a live music festival, much like a bustling grand prix paddock would have been in the 1960s, 1970s, or 1980s.
