Partners since 2022, Lapierre and Alpine unveil their brand new electric mountain bike at the cutting edge of sporting innovation, the GLP III SE.
Coming from the third generation of the Lapierre GLP range, it adopts the stylistic codes of the Alpine A110 R: colors, lightness and very high level of performance. Available in four sizes (S, M, L and XL) and in a limited edition of 300 units, the GLP III SE mountain bike is offered by Lapierre at the price of 11 euros including VAT.

Lapierre x Alpine collaboration
Audacity, innovation, and expertise are the essential qualities that the Dijon-based bicycle brand shares with the French car manufacturer. This collaboration between two iconic and historic companies in French industry aims to push the boundaries of performance and engineering. The result is exceptional bikes with a unique design and a competitive edge.
The GLP III SE is the second model co-designed by Lapierre and Alpine and the first e-MTB to be part of this partnership. The first bike to emerge from this collaboration is the Aircode DRS Alpine, released in 2022, a road bike that combines high-tech and aerodynamics.

An inspired design
The GLP III SE is inspired by the Alpine A110 R's color scheme: the frame features an elegant blend of Matte Racing Blue and Deep Black. Lapierre and Alpine designers worked closely on this project to optimize the mix of the two worlds. The meticulous work on the UD SLI carbon, composed mainly of unidirectional IM/VHM fibers, allows the bike to be light and efficient while being stiff and strong to match the handling and dynamism of the A110 R.

The GLP project: working on gravity
Born from the desire to rethink the concept of the electric mountain bike, the Gravity Logic Project launched in 2017 has revolutionized the electric mountain bike market thanks to a concept unmatched in the world: recentering and lowering the mass as much as possible around the center of gravity. The notion of weight becomes relative. The steering is "light", the bike "playful". This vision has never been equaled and is constantly evolving to fuel all of Lapierre's developments in eMTB and mountain bikes. Coming from the 3rd generation of GLP, the GLP III SE mountain bike is the perfect example of this new and innovative solution, placing the bike's handling at the heart of its specifications.

Extreme performance
Ideally suited to the racing philosophy and spirit of the 3rd generation of GLP, the new limited edition Bosch Performance Line CX Race motor generates more power than previous models thanks to its “Race” mode. True to its basic concept, the battery (725 Wh) is still external and easily removable. With the evolution of the market and practices, the GLP range is increasingly oriented towards enduro (170 mm fork), pure performance and competition.
High technology, excellence, and balance are the keys to this collaboration: to be the best on all terrains and offer maximum pleasure. The GLP III SE mountain bike is available (in sizes S, M, L, and XL) at selected Lapierre dealers and on the website: https://www.lapierrebikes.com/fr-en/news/lapierre-x-alpine/
