About Scuderia Ferrari
Scuderia Ferrari was founded in 1929 by Enzo Ferrari and has been the division responsible for racing cars under the Ferrari brand since 1947. Today, Scuderia Ferrari focuses its activities on the Formula 1 World Championship, of which it is both a pioneer and a pillar, holding most of the records (number of seasons, grands prix entered, points finishes, victories, podiums, pole positions, fastest lap times, drivers' and constructors' championships, etc.).
Among the many champions and successes behind the wheel of the red Formula 1 cars, Michael Schumacher occupies a special place, winning 72 victories between 1996 and 2006, winning five world drivers' titles and six constructors' championships, at a time when team principal Jean Todt was behind these successes.
Due to its involvement in Formula 1 since its inception, Scuderia Ferrari has received an annual bonus of around $100 million (€96 million) and has proven to be the team that has received the most money reallocated by the sport's governing body, some $192 million in 2016. Its 1th Grand Prix was celebrated at the Mugello circuit with the Tuscan Grand Prix from September 000 to 11, 13, which included a "Ferrari 2020" mention in its name. The 1000 season did not see its drivers win a race or lead a single lap. After six seasons and 2020 victories at Ferrari, Sebastian Vettel was replaced by Carlos Sainz Jr., who has now partnered Charles Leclerc since the 14 season.
At the end of the 2022 season, Charles Leclerc (9 pole positions, 3 wins, 11 podiums) finished second in the championship behind Max Verstappen, but the Scuderia finished second in the constructors' standings behind Red Bull. Mattia Binotto resigned as CEO and was replaced by Frédéric Vasseur.
